Having a hard time deciphering the best college basketball value for tonight's action? Check out two picks inside that may be worth considering.

SBR's 2014 NCAA Brackets Contest

Rutgers Scarlet Knights vs. Connecticut Huskies

The Huskies must be feeling really good after their statement win over Cincinnati over the weekend. Will they keep momentum high with another victory at home?

According to oddsmakers, it should be a walk in the park for Connecticut. They're favored by 15.5 points on the college basketball odds board over the Scarlet Knights, who are 11-18 SU and 12-15 ATS on the season. The Huskies have been far better at 23-6 SU and 15-12 ATS.

Connecticut's recent triumph over the Bearcats was their second straight win and pushed them to 6-1 SU over their last seven, with another nice win over Memphis (in overtime) sprinkled in there. The Huskies have gone 4-3 ATS in that span.

How has Rutgers been doing lately? Not too well. The Scarlet Knights won over the weekend (beating USF 74-73), but they had lost four straight before that and have gone just 3-9 SU over their previous 12 contests overall.

We like Connecticut tonight for numerous reasons. For one, they're a solid 9-6 ATS on their home floor and come up against a Rutgers team that's 4-6 ATS away from home. The hosts have also simply been the far better team on both ends of the court, especially defensively where they've surrendered just 60.2 PPG over their last five. In comparison, the Scarlet Knights have given up 76.6 PPG.

The Huskies didn't have much trouble in the first meeting this season, winning 82-71 on the road and covering as six-point favorites. There was no stopping Shabazz Napier, who had 26 points in 37 minutes in the win.

We see more of the same happening tonight. Connecticut is the more talented team and should cruise to another win, while also covering this heavy chalk for our college basketball picks.

College Basketball Pick: Connecticut Huskies -15.5

Texas A&M Aggies vs. Missouri Tigers

Both of these teams stand at 8-8 in conference play, but the Tigers have the better overall record at 20-9 SU (11-14-2 ATS). The Aggies come in at 17-12 SU and 12-11 ATS.

As we run over the college basketball betting odds, it looks like a potential blowout is on the cards, with Missouri favored by 9.5 points at most sportsbooks. The total had not yet been released at time of writing.

In terms of recent form, both teams have been doing pretty well.

The Tigers won big their last time in action, overcoming Mississippi State 85-66 at home. It was a great way to bounce back after consecutive losses at Alabama and Georgia, and it means Missouri is now 4-2 SU (but only 2-4 ATS) in their past six matchups.

Texas A&M has also won four of their last five, beating Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and LSU and losing at LSU and Vanderbilt. The Aggies have been on a nice roll against the spread though, covering for backers in five of their past six contests.

That said, they have been a total disaster on the road presall season long, going 1-7 SU in true road games and 0-3 when playing on a neutral court. Overall they're a poor 3-8 ATS away from home, part of the reason we like the Tigers to cash this evening.

We really like the trio of Jabari Brown, Jordan Clarkson and Earnest Ross, who average over 52 points per game between them. Look for them to set the tone and guide Missouri to a double-digit win at home, where they've lost just twice this season.

College Basketball Pick: Missouri Tigers -9.5
