Follow along with us as we break down two college basketball games that appear to hold value in the betting odds.

Check out our NCAA Basketball Picks for Notre Dame vs. Maryland

NC State Wolfpack vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Neither Wake Forest nor NC State have had much success in ACC play so far, but one team will get back on the winning side tonight.

Current college basketball betting lines have the Demon Deacons favored by 2.5 points, while the O/U had not been released at time of writing. For the year Wake Forest is 11-5 SU and 7-5 ATS, with NC State at 11-5 SU and 5-7-1 ATS.

The Wolfpack were just embarrassed on their home court (45-76) by Virginia over the weekend and will obviously be looking to put forth a much better account of themselves. They have managed to do pretty well on the road, beating the likes of Notre Dame (77-70) and Tennessee (65-58), though they did lose by double digits to Cincinnati.

As for Wake Forest, they're also trying to get back on track after consecutive double-figure losses at Virginia and Pittsburgh. You couldn't ask for two tougher road contests to start off ACC play, but now the Demon Deacons return home, where they've still yet to lose this season.

While NC State will have the best player on the floor in T.J. Warren, we like Wake Forest's balance more, especially inside with the likes of Devin Thomas and Travis McKie.

The Wolfpack have dominated this series over the years, both straight up and against the spread, but we're expecting a win for the home team here.

Wake Forest has gone 4-2 ATS in six home contests which have had public lines and we're backing them to cover again tonight.

College Basketball Pick: Wake Forest Demon Deacons -2.5

Baylor Bears vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders

To close out our free picks for tonight, we're backing another win for a favorite, only this time it comes on the road team.

Baylor comes in favored by 4.5 points, with the O/U opening at 137.

Looking back at recent meetings between these teams, we see the Bears have completely dominated Texas Tech, having won by 34+ points in three consecutive matchups. That includes a 84-48 road win last year.

Isaiah Austin and Cory Jefferson combined for 34 points in that win and you have to figure they'll be at the center of everything Baylor does again tonight. That duo went for 25 points, 22 rebounds and seven blocks between them in the Bears' recent 88-62 drubbing of TCU at home.

The Bears will come up against a Red Raiders team that's opened conference play with three straight losses. They lost to Iowa State (62-73) and West Virginia (86-89) at home and then fell by three at Texas this past weekend.

Texas Tech has a couple solid forwards in Jaye Crockett and Jordan Tolbert, but they lack the size to compete with Austin and Jefferson.

Throw in an always improving young point guard in Kenny Chery and a knockdown shooter in Brady Heslip and you've got yourself a very well balanced team. Taurean Prince, Rico Gathers, Gary Franklin and Royce O'Neale have also been contributing. Baylor may struggle to get going early on, but in the end we think they'll find a way to win and cover this short number on the road.

College Basketball Pick: Baylor Bears -4.5
