Another team which has been mowing down their opponents has been the Arizona Wildcats. The Wildcats are coming off of back to back victories over UCLA and USC and that's no small feat. Arizona will look to keep their 12 game winning streak alive in a matchup in which they should dominate against the Washington State Cougars.

Washington State Cougars (10-9) vs #7 Arizona Wildcats (18-2) The Return of Allonzo Trier

This isn't the first name that you expected to see, but the sophomore is back after serving a suspension for performance enhancing drugs. After a freshman year that saw Trier average 14.8 points per game, he came back this season with a strong performance in the victory over UCLA with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. The 6 foot 5 guard has already proven that he won't be a distraction and the fact that he brings fresh legs into a late January game, makes Arizona that much better a basketball squad; as if they weren't a great team already.

 Upset Victory Over UCLA

Coming off of a 96-85 victory over the UCLA Bruins, the Wildcats come into this game with a ton of confidence. Arizona outrebound edand outshot the Bruins as they committed jusy 7 turnovers for the game. 7 foot freshman, Lauri Markkanen has led this team all season long and he came up big against the Bruins with 18 point and 7 rebounds on 3 of 4 shooting from 3-point land. Can you say Dirk Nowitzki? This might be wishful thinking for the Cats, but Markkanen has all of the tools to be an NBA star. Washington State will be in for a long night as the Wildcats are getting hot at the right time.

We take a quick look at the Washington Huskies and there's nothing to cheer about as Washington State has been ineffective in inter-conference play. In fact, they've lost their last 4 games and had recently suffered an 88-47 loss at the hands of the Utah Utes. Double-double man, Josh Hawkinson will need to be at his best here and for his part, Hawkinson is averaging 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in his last 2 games. In the end, it won't be enough as Arizona is unbeatable and dominant.
