Now that the NFL Regular Season has completed, NCAA Basketball is starting to heat up on Sundays. There's more action which means there's more opportunitity to rake in a nice profit. I have my radar focused on a couple of late games. Here are your picks of the day for Sunday.

#4 Wisconsin Badgers (13-1) vs. Northwestern Wildcats (10-4)
Inter-conference Play At Its Finest
The competition becomes greater as we hit inter-conference play and this always separates the great teams from the teams that have been hiding behind a cupcake schedule. Northwestern, who has won 4 straight games, gets a great opportunity at home as they take on one of the best teams in the country the Wisconsin Badgers. While Northwestern has had some good wins, they haven't had any notable wins and as they face the rugged defense of Wisconsin, this is the ultimate test for the Wildcats who are in this occasion a 13-point home dog according to college basketball betting odds.

Let's not forget, Northwestern also feeds of their defense and we should see a very low scoring game. In their last 3 games, the Wildcats have allowed an average of just 49.3 points per game to their opponents and they haven't allowed an opponent to score 70 points on them yet this season.

Fabulous Freshman
For the Wildcats, freshman ,Bryant McIntosh, has been the hot hand as of late. In his last 3 games, McIntosh has averaged 18 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds per game. This is well above his seasonal averages. That said, McIntosh is very reliable on the offensive end as he shoots over 80% from the free throw line and over 40% from 3-point land. This will be the ultimate test for the freshman. His play could be the key to making this game competitive for Northwestern.

While the Badgers have always been a great defensive team, their offense has elevated their level of play. Wisconsin is averaging 74.6 points per game while shooting nearly 50 % from the field. 7 foot senior Frank Kaminsky brings a world of experience to this team as he leads the Badgers at 16.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Kaminsky comes into this game with back to back double- doubles. In these two games, he's averaging 21.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. Northwestern simply doesn't have an answer for Kaminsky.

#5 Louisville Cardinals (12-1) vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (8-6)
Unfortunately for the Demon Deacons, Tim Duncan has graduated nearly 2 decades and the Lousiville Cardinals possess one of the best rebounding teams in college basketball.

Lousiville isn't one of the deepest teams, but the players that they have are mostly on an elite level. Asking the Demon Deacons to stop Terry Rozier (17.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg., 2.4 spg.) and Montrezl Harris (16 ppg., 9.3 rpg.) doesn't seem likely. This game will come down to Wake Forest being able to match the offensive firepower of Louisville and they won't get many 2nd chance opportunities.

Leading scorer, Codi Miller- McIntyre, is coming off of a near triple-double against Princeton and previous to that, had averaged 17.3 points per game in his 3 previous games. Look for a big game out of Miller-McIntyre and a double-double out of forward Devin Thomas, but will it be enough is the question? You should take Lousville as your college basketball pick.
