With a very limited amount of NCAA Basketball games to choose from, we will choose carefully as the profit is still there for the taking as we provide you with some free action on NFL Sunday.

San Jose State (2-9) vs. Washington State (4-6)

Massive Suspensions
It's very rare that you get a 4-6 team like the Cougars and they're a 20.5 point betting favorite in a game unless the opposition is really poor and in this case, San Jose State fits the bill. The Cougars haven't faced the toughest competition that college basketball has to offer aside from a meeting against Gonzaga. In this matchup, they were defeated quite soundly by 15 points.

From a San Jose State perspective, they simply have no offense. The Spartans are averaging 57.5 points per game and below 40% from the field. San Jose has to worry about where their offense will come from and leading scorers, Rashad Muhammad and Jordan Baker are both out indefinitely due to suspension. Not only that, their leading rebounder, Frank Rogers (10.4 points, 6.1 rebounds) is also suspended.

Darryl Gaynor II is the highest scoring player at 5.8 points per game that is available to play in tonight's game. This team is in major trouble and this is a major opportunity for the Washington State Cougars to pick up an easy victory.

Open Invitation
With half of the Spartans roster suspended, this is an open invitation for DaVonte Lacy (17.1 points.) and Josh Hawkinson (14.5 points, 10.2 rebounds)  to basically have their way with the Spartans defense. Lacy is coming off of a 2 for 12 shooting performance in a loss to Santa Clara and this game is the perfect remedy to fix the problem. Make Washington State your NCAA basketball pick. This game is an easy victory for Washington and game should be over by halftime.

Alcorn State (1-9) vs. UTEP (6-4)

Sun Bowl Invitation
Sometimes in the less notable matchups on a late Sunday night, you can find the hidden gems and where Alcorn State is concerned, they bring absolutely nothing to the table acording to NCAA basketball odds.

The Braves are another team that lacks offense, averaging 62.2 points, 9.7 assists, and shoot just 37.4 % from the field as a team. The only thing that can be said in their favor is that they allowed Texas to be on their schedule. While the Longhorns were on the Braves schedule, Alcorn State was blown out, 85-53. Now, they face a UTEP Miners team that's not nearly as good as Texas but the Braves are still a massive 26 point underdog.

A Good Loss?
Usually there's no such thing as a good loss, but when you take the # 3 team in the nation in the Arizona Wildcats to the limit and lose by 5 points, this is a good loss for the Miners. Tonight, they go from the top of the NCAA to the bottom as they face Alcorn State.

UTEP forward ,Vince Hunter, has been on a major tear as of late. In his last 3 games, Hunter is averaging 20 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting well over 50% from the field. The Braves will have no answer for Hunter along with forward Julian Washburn. Washburn had a disappointing 5 point performance against Arizona, but the level of opposition will take a major decline as the Miners face the Braves and I expect Washburn to play well here.
