We’ve identified four college basketball underdogs on Saturday that we strongly feel can pull off an upset. Of course we’ll take the points as an additional bonus in each of those contests. Be sure to read our betting preview article pertaining to this subject matter in order to find out what four teams were on.

Virginia (28-1) vs. Louisville (23-7) 6:30 PM ET
The Louisville Cardinals find themselves in a rare spot as a home underdog and justifiably so against the #2 ranked Virginia Cavaliers. According to the NCAA Basketball odds at BetDSI, Virginia is a 2.5 point favorite. The Cardinals will enter this regular season finale in an ornery mood after suffering a 71-59 setback on their home floor at the hands of Notre Dame in their previous game. The loss of sophomore guard Chris Jones (13.7 ppg.) who was thrown off the team for violation of team rules was certainly a big blow, especially considering the Cardinals lacked quality depth to start with. One thing you can be sure of, Rick Pitino will have his team well prepared and ready to go today.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Louisville +2.5 over Virginia at 5Dimes.

Davidson (22-6) vs. Duquense (11-17) 7:00 PM ET
The college basketball betting odds at Bovada indicates that Davidson is a 7.5 point road favorite in this contest. Bob McKillop’s team has gone 8-0 SU&ATS in their last eight games heading into their final regular season game this evening. Davidson is coming off a monumental effort in an 82-55 home win over nationally ranked VCU in their last outing. With the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament and the NCAA tournament in their sights, this appears to be a potential flat spot for the sizable road favorite. By the way, Duquense has gone 4-0 SU&ATS in their last four games at home, and won those contests by an average of 11.3 points per game.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Duquense +7.5 over Davidson at Bodog

Wyoming (22-8) vs. New Mexico (14-15) 8:00 PM ET
The college basketball betting odds at Bookmaker have New Mexico listed as a 2.5 point favorite in this Mountain West Conference game. This is an extremely important game for the Wyoming Cowboys. They still have a legitimate chance to gain an at-large-bid to the “Big Dance” if they fail to win the conference tournament, and can ill afford what would be perceived to be a bad loss at this juncture. The Cowboys will be riding the momentum of a 76-53 blowout win over red-hot Utah State in their previous game. They will be facing a Lobos team tonight that has gone 0-8 SU&ATS in their previous eight games. Urgency will win out in this contest.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Wyoming +2.5 over New Mexico at Bookmaker

Colorado State (25-5) vs. Utah State (18-11) 9:00 PM ET
According to the college basketball betting odds at Pinnacle, Colorado State has been installed as a 2.0 point favorite in this Mountain West Conference game. There will be a plethora of emotion in Logan, Utah for this final regular season home game. Long time head coach Skip Morrill will be calling it quits at the end of the season, and the Aggies will surely be extra motivated against a very good Colorado State team. Utah State had their six game win streak snapped in their previous contest at Wyoming. Putting that game aside, they had been playing terrific down the final stretch of the regular season. The great equalizer for underdogs in college basketball is the three-point shot. The Aggies have converted on an excellent 42.1% of their long distance attempts at home this season. I’m going to ride the wave of emotion in this game for one of my NCAA basketball picks on Saturday.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Utah State +2.0 over Colorado State at Pinnacle.
