Our college basketball expert Ross Benjamin has gone 17-13-1 ATS the last thirteen betting days with his underdog NCAA basketball picks, and that includes 13 outright winners.

LSU vs. South Carolina 7:00 PM ET
This is an intriguing SEC matchup on Wednesday. South Carolina is 20-3 this season, yet they’re currently unranked in the AP Poll. LSU is atop the SEC standings with an 8-2 mark, and they’re also unranked. LSU may be in a bit more of an urgent situation in terms of a possible NCAA Tournament at-large bid, and that’s mostly due to a less than impressive 7-6 non-conference record. A quality road win tonight would go a long way in improving their postseason resume.

Speaking of LSU, they’ve gone 4-1 in its last five games, and their only loss came by a narrow 2 point margin against then top ranked Oklahoma. During that stretch, LSU averaged 80.8 points per contest, shot 50.3%, converted on a stellar 39.1% of its three point attempts, and had a dominating +8 rebound per game differential.

South Carolina has been somewhat shaky defensively over its last five games. They’ve allowed opponents to shoot 40.2% from three point territory, and have also allowed them to average 27 free throw attempts per contest. Conversely, LSU has averaged 27 free throw attempts per game in SEC action.

Current college basketball betting odds at 5Dimes clearly provides me with the most favorable number for this specific NCAA basketball pick.

Saint Joseph’s vs. George Washington 7:00 PM ET
St. Joe’s enters tonight’s key Atlantic 10 game sporting a stellar 19-4 record. Even more impressive is the fact that they’re 8-0 SU&ATS in true road games this season. However, they’re still considered a team on the proverbial NCAA Tournament bubble according to experts who specialize in such calculations. A road win versus an outstanding team like George Washington would be a much needed feather in their cap. Not to mention they currently possess a 1.0 game lead over George Washington for 3rd place in the Atlantic 10 standings.

St. Joe’s has been solid on the defensive end all season. That’s been even more evident over their last five games. During that time frame, they held opponents to 63.2 points per game, and just 38.4% shooting. Contrarily, George Washington has struggled with their shooting in recent games. The Colonials are shooting just 41.0% from the field during its previous five outings.

This shapes up to be a statement game for St. Joseph’s. The Hawks have an excellent opportunity tonight to prove they’re for real, and I’m using them as one of my college basketball picks on Wednesday.

Texas A&M vs. Alabama 7:00 PM ET
The #15 ranked Aggies have struggled of late, going 1-3 SU&ATS in their previous four games. They also have a huge road game at SEC leading LSU coming up next this coming Saturday.

In the thought you should know department. Prior to the start of this season, Alabama had lost 21 straight games to ranked opponents. Since Avery Johnson took over as head coach in Tuscaloosa for the 2015-2016 college basketball campaign, Alabama has gone 3-2 versus ranked opponents. The former NBA player and head coach has instilled confidence in his team, and they’ll be a dangerous home underdog tonight. The Crimson Tide has gone a more than respectable 8-2 at home this season, and they are +5 in the NCAA basketball odds boards.
