Our NCAA basketball odds analyst has two underdog plays on Tuesday’s sizable card. Find out what those picks are and maximize your profits today.

Dayton vs. St. Bonaventure 7:00 PM ET
The only team that’s going to keep Dayton out of the 2016 NCAA Tournament is the Flyers themselves. They’ve played a strong non-conference schedule, and attained some quality wins in doing so. However, the last time they played a road game was against a 4-8 LaSalle team. The Explorers managed to upset Dayton in that contest 61-57 as a huge 11.5 point underdog.

St. Bonaventure fell to 4-1 in conference play after an upset loss at Duquense in their previous outing. That snapped a 5-0 SU&ATS streak for the Bonnies, and they may have been caught looking ahead to tonight’s matchup against highly touted Dayton. The Bonnies are 8-1 in home games this season, and that includes 6-0 in their last six at the Reilly Center in Olean, New York. They’ll also be playing with triple revenge on Tuesday. Dayton defeated St. Bonaventure three times a season ago, and included a narrow 4 point win in the 2015 Atlantic 10 postseason tournament.

Emotion will play a significant role in this matchup.  Tuesday’s game is sold out, and the 5300 strong in attendance will provide a raucous environment.  St. Bonaventure team has a stellar 12-4 record thus far, and will play with a massive chip on their shoulders for many of the reasons I just discussed. I’m siding with the home team in this matchup for one of my NCAA basketball picks for Tuesday.

Northwestern vs. Maryland 8:00 PM ET
This is a text book situational play for me based on the sound college basketball handicapping logic I’ve developed through many years of trials and errors. Maryland is come off a resounding 105-60 home win in their previous game against an Ohio State team that entered that contest playing very well. After tonight, the Terrapins will face Big Ten powers Michigan State and Iowa in their next two contests. Before those games even transpire, they’ll have to take on a Northwestern club on Tuesday, and one it disposed of easily in a 13 point road win just 17 days ago. This has all the makings of the proverbial trap game for Maryland.

Northwestern is enjoying a resurgence of their basketball program under the guidance of second year head coach Chris Collins. The former Duke guard has brought with him a winning mentality to Evanston, Illinois. If the Wildcats current 15-4 record is any indication, the players have certainly bought in. However, after getting off to a terrific 13-1 start, they’ve gone just 2-3 in their last five games, and that includes a disappointing loss to Penn State in its previous outing as an 8.0 point home favorite. On a more positive note, the Wildcats are a perfect 4-0 SU&ATS in true road games this season.

Current NCAA basketball odds provide me with a best combination of number and price for this specific wager.
