The UCLA Bruins continue to be a dominant force this season as they've run off 3 consecutive double digit victories over Pac-12 opponents in Stanford, Cal, and Oregon State. Now, the Bruins must take to the road and face a Colorado team with 10 wins, but has also been unfriendly to the bettor as the Buffaloes check in at 5-10 ATS. UCLA appears to be the play. Let's take a look.

#4 UCLA Bruins (16-1) vs Colorado Buffaloes (10-6)Difference Makers

Freshmen T.J. Leaf (17.4 points, 9.1 rebounds) and Lonzo Ball (14.7 points, 8 assists, 5.6 rebounds) have really been the difference this season for a Bruins team that contains a mixture of freshman and seniors. One thing is a given; Bryce Alford will always be looking for someone to feed him the basketball as he's looks for his shot quite often, but the freshman are multi-faceted two-way players and just like a two-way player such as Kawhi Leonard find's success in the NBA with the Spurs, Ball and Leaf are finding success as a member of the Bruins.

Ball Does It All!

While Leaf has been a double-double machine, Ball has been stuffing the stat sheet in almost every category as there's simply nothing that he can't do. A good example of this is his most recent game in a victory over Stanford. Ball finished up the game with 21 points on 4 of 5 shooting from 3-point range, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.Lonzo Ball is the equivalent to a 5-tool player in baseball as he has no weakness. Look for the Lonzo Ball and T.J. Leaf to have another big game as home court advantage is less of a factor where the UCLA Bruins are concerned.

Big Game For Colorado

When looking at Colorado, this is a team that lack's consistency. Early in the season, they defeated two top 25 teams in Texas and Xavier and most recently, are on a 3 game losing streak. With 2 quality victories in their back pocket, their schedule doesn't look easy and a win here would basically make their season. Easier said than done as they're a 5.5 point underdog at home against one of the best teams in the country in UCLA.

Senior Derrick White must have a bounce back effort here as he put up 35 points against Arizona and then layed an egg with a 7 point performance against Arizona. Despite Colorado's huge wins, UCLA is the far superior squad and the pick in this game.
