There are two favorites on the college basketball betting odds board that seem to have appealing value tonight. Are you on the same wavelength with your sports picks?

Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Texas Longhorns

Once one of the most feared teams in the nation, the Cowboys have taken a massive step back with their performances over the last month or so.

Oklahoma State has dropped four in a row and five of their last six, with those of those defeats (Baylor and Iowa State) coming at home. The Cowboys have really missed big man Michael Cobbins inside, and now their best player, Marcus Smart, is out for three games due to suspension.

Sportsbooks have released their lines for tonight's game and they have Oklahoma State getting four points in this trip to Austin.

The Longhorns had their seven-game winning streak snapped in a 57-74 loss at Kansas State three days ago. During their impressive run, they beat the likes of Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State and Texas Tech at home, pushing their record there to 12-2 SU on the season.

Head to head, the Cowboys won big in the first meeting at home, overcoming Texas 87-74 as huge 12.5-point favorites. Smart had a 24/11/5 line with six steals in the win.

A lot has changed since then obviously, with Oklahoma State going through a rough patch, Marcus Smart now suspended, and Cobbins getting injured. Not to mention the Longhorns have improved dramatically since that loss.

So, after looking over the college basketball odds, we think it's in our best interest to recommend backing Texas as the favorite. They'll want to respond the right way after getting demolished at Kansas State and we think they'll be too much for the Cowboys, missing two starters, to handle. Look for the Longhorns to cover against an Oklahoma State team that's just 3-8 ATS away from Stillwater this season.

College Basketball Pick: Texas Longhorns -4

Michigan Wolverines vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

In another high-profile matchup, this time between long-time rivals Ohio State and Michigan, we are again looking for a cashed ticket for those who side with the favorites.

Right now you can find the Buckeyes favored by 3.5 to 4 points, with the O/U holding steady at 129.5. Ohio State is 19-5 SU and 12-11 ATS on the year, while Michigan is 17-6 SU and 11-9-1 ATS.

The Buckeyes have pushed through their rough patch (losing four of five) to win three games in a row, two of which were on the road at Wisconsin (59-58) and Iowa (76-69). Two highly impressive victories right there. They carried over that momentum into an easy 67-49 triumph over Purdue over the weekend.

For Michigan, they've alternated wins and losses over their last four, beating Purdue and Nebraska but falling short at Indiana and at Iowa. Despite those two setbacks, the Wolverines are still flying high at 9-2 SU in conference play.

It's hard to go against this surging Ohio State team though, especially when they're at home in this rivalry showdown. Thad Matta's team has had a lot of success against Michigan over the years when playing at Value City Arena.

The Wolverines have struggled away from Ann Arbor, going 3-7-1 against the spread in 11 contests, and we have a hard time believing they can get the better of a Buckeyes team that's looked excellent over the past 10 days.

Back Ohio State to notch their fourth straight victory and get the cover in the process for our NCAAB picks.

College Basketball Pick: Ohio State Buckeyes -3.5
