No. 5 Duke squares off against No. 21 Florida at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night as part of the Jimmy V Classic. Let's review the NCAA basketball odds and cash a ticket!

Florida Gators Vs. Duke Blue Devils

This game will be played on neutral territory as the Gators prepare to take on the Blue Devils, a team that is only now getting a pair of five-star recruits into the lineup after center Marques Bolden and forward Jayson Tatum were medically cleared to play in Friday's 94-55 shellacking of Maine. It was the college debut for both, having missed the previous eight games due to injuries. Bolden had seven points and five boards, while Tatum notched 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

The infusion of young talent into the Duke lineup will allow head coach Mike Krzyzewski to spread out the minutes and take the load off of his starting lineup. Duke's starters have been averaging greater than 30 minutes per game, but the expansion of the bench will be good news for those weary bodies. The Blue Devils come into this contest with an 8-1 record and are 4-4 against the NCAA basketball odds. Their only loss was a 77-75 decision to a very good Kansas team on a neutral site on Nov. 15 as two-point favorites.

The Gators bring a 7-1 straight-up mark and a 4-2 ATS record into this contest after throttling North Florida by the score of 91-60 in an unlined event . UF shot 58.5 percent from the field, its highest percentage under head coach Mike White. Florida is hoping to end its dubious five-game losing streak against top-five non-conference opponents, a skein that dates back to 2009.

This should be an interesting game between two talented teams. The Blue Devils have a deeper bench than the Gators, but Florida plays tough defense and that should be an issue for a Duke team that is finally getting all the players on its roster after the freshman duo of Bolden and Tatum had been sidelined. However, injuries to two of Duke's leading scorers, Grayson Allen and Frank Jackson, precluded the two from playing in the blowout victory over Maine. I'm just not sure Duke's key players are completely healed and that the newly-arrived freshmen have had enough practice time with the team to be a cohesive unit.

We should note that this is a neutral site and the disparity in talent between the two clubs is not wide. Yes, the Blue Devils have a decided edge on the offensive end of the court, but the Gators can prove to be a worthy adversary defensively and should keep this one competitive. I believe the public will be throwing money at Duke in their NCAA basketball picks, which will inflate an already sizeable point spread. I'll grab the Gators and the points here.
