Our college basketball analyst has isolated 3 unsuspecting underdog picks on Thursday’s conference tournament board. If you’re looking to cash in big with your college basketball picks then this is a must-read article.

Xavier Musketeers vs Butler Bulldogs

Game# 725-726

Northwestern is enjoying its best season in school history. Nevertheless, they struggled in the final stretch of regular season action by losing 6 of their last 9 games. The Wildcats are also 0-4 during their previous 4 games as a favorite and lost 3 of those 4 contests outright.

Rutgers is coming off yesterday’s impressive 66-57 win over Ohio State and did so as a 7.5-point underdog. The Scarlet Knights are a very profitable 8-4 ATS in their last 12 and 4-1 ATS during its previous 5 games as an underdog. As a matter of fact, Rutgers covered as an 11.5-point underdog during a 69-65 loss at Northwestern on 2/18. They were mainly able to stay in the contest throughout by hauling in 16 offensive rebounds. As a matter of fact, Rutgers is averaging a robust 13 offensive rebounds per game during its last 5 contests. I’m taking the underdog in this Big 10 Conference quarterfinal for one of my college basketball picks.

Tulane Green Wave vs Tulsa Golden Hurricane

Game# 801-802

I know this is a neutral site game. However, it’s worth noting, Tulsa has gone 0-6 SU&ATS in their last 6 games not played on its home floor, and lost by a substantial average of 19.2 points per contest. The Golden Hurricane have been terrible defensively over their previous 5 outings, allowing 77.6 points per game, and permitting their opponents to shoot 50.0% from the field as well as making 42.9% of its 3-point tries.

It’s hard to pull the trigger on a team that’s 6-24, and especially so when there are this many games on the board. Nonetheless, Tulane is coming off an 81-69 home win in their regular season finale against this very same Tulsa team. I’m taking a calculated risk on the Green Wave plus the points as one of my March Madness predictions.

Sacramento State Hornets vs Eastern Washington Eagles

Game# 807-808

Sacramento State has been an absolute money maker over the last 5 weeks. They’ve managed to go a superb 11-2 ATS in its last 13 and 8-1 ATS during their previous 9 games. Additionally, Sacramento State is a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog and won 3 of those contests straight up. They lost both regular season meetings this season against Eastern Washington, but both defeats each came by narrow 5-point margins. The deciding difference in both contests was Eastern Washington’s combined 64 free throw attempts. It’s highly improbable that type of frequent march to the charity stripe will occur again this evening.
