Today is "Black Friday" and read on as I attempt to provide great profits for the betting public in NCAA Basketball so they can spend it on their loved ones. With a solid amount of games on the board, I'd like to pinpoint a couple of games in which I see flaws where the betting odds are concerned.

#22 UCLA Bruins (4-2) vs UAB Blazers (2-4)
Battle 4 Atlantis
The Battle 4 Atlantis has been a complete and utter disaster for the Bruins as they've picked up 2 losses in this tournament after a previously untarnished record.

In losses to North Carolina and Oklahoma, the Bruins have shot just 38.1 % from the field and 5 for 31 from 3 point range and their lack of efficiency has led to their demise.UCLA hopes to bounce back and save face in the 7th place game of the tournament as they get a much easier matchup against UAB.

UCLA is a heavy 13 point NCAA basketball odds favorite in this game and are coming off of a 1 for 14 shooting performance from beyond the arc against UNC.

Bryce Alford was a big culprit in their last game and I expect a bounce back performance from the coach's son. Alford was an abysmal 0 for 4 from 3-point range, committed 6 turnovers, and shot just 3 for 10 overall. He's usually a main source of offense with his fantastic shooting ability. Alford is still leading the Bruins at 18.2 points and 7.3 assists per game. Look for Alford to also get other players involved tonight.

Double-Double Machine
Although he did manage to score 11 points against North Carolina, freshman, Kevin Looney, got pushed around in the paint by the fierce Tarheels crew. Expect a bounce performance from Looney, who is averaging 14.3 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. The level of opposition is much lower tonight and UCLA will look to end this trip back to Los Angeles on a positive note.

Although UAB has been quite ineffective, they have played a very tough schedule with consecutive losses to #2 Wisconsin and #18 Florida. UAB managed to hang around in their game against the Gators, losing by just 9 points. If they can put up a similar effort in their matchup against a reeling UCLA club, they'll at least have a chance to cover the betting spread.

Guard, Robert Brown, gets most of the minutes on the Blazers squad. This is a team with no definitive superstar and while Brown isn't an efficient shooter at 35.2 % from the field, the offense will have to come from somewhere and Brown is good for at least 10 points per game. Look for UCLA to come back strong in this game.

NCAA Basketball Pick: UCLA -13 at 5Dimes

Ole Miss Rebels (3-1, 1-0) vs. #23 Creighton Bluejays (5-0, 0-0)
No Respect in Niceville
The Bluejays might not be so nice in Niceville, Florida as they're just a 3.5 point betting favorite on a neutral site in the Emerald Coast Classic.Although they definitely miss Doug McDermott, who was a prolific scorer in the Big East, Creighton now has a different guy that can step up on any given occasion.

The Bluejays have the unenviable tasks of facing one of the best defenses in the country in the Ole Miss Rebels. The Rebels have held their opponents to just 32.9 % from the field and under 30% from 3-point range. This can certainly be a problem for Creighton tonight and Ole Miss has a legitimate shot at an upset.

Ole Miss is one of the worst 3 point shooting teams themselves and Ladarius White can see extended playing time as he's the only legitimate outside threat for the Rebels. White is averaging 11.5 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 46.7% from beyqwond the arc. If Creighton gets a sizeable lead, Ole Miss will be looking in White's direction.

Creighton has had an easy time of it this season with the exception of the Oklahoma Sooners. The Bluejays were able to pull off a huge victory over the Sooners and catapult themselves into the AP top 25 in a 65-63 squeaker.

In Creighton's most recent game, they defeated the Eastern Illinois Panthers quite easily, 75-53. In this game, the Bluejays shot over 50% from the field as Geoffrey Groselle came off the bench in just 12 minutes to lead the way with 15 points on 7 of 8 shooting from the field. Creighton doesn't really have a go to guy, but leading scorer, Isaiah Zierden (13.8 ppg) managed just 4 points and only put up 3 shots in 19 minutes of play in the victory over Eastern Illinois.

For your NCAA basketball picks, I expect the Ole Miss defense to give Creighton fits and this game will go down to the wire.

NCAA Basketball Pick:  Ole Miss +3.5
