With Kevin Love questionable tonight, the NBA odds on the total have dipped two points in the lone NBA contest on the board and we instead will shift attention to the college game and the NHL.

Ole Miss vs. Florida  7:00 ET  ESPN
With Mississippi 8-3 and 10-1 ATS away from the Oxford campus, some wise guy money for college basketball picks must have been dumped on Florida. The Gators are now expected to even take a larger bite out of the Rebels, having been moved from -4 to -6 in this SEC showdown at most sportsbooks. Part of the reason for this observation is almost 60 percent of wagers placed are on the visitor. Florida is in a payback position having lost 72-71 as one-point road favorites almost three weeks ago, but this adjusted figure does not correlate with Ole Miss having covered six straight over Billy Donovan’s squad and posting a 7-1 ATS mark as underdogs this season.

College Basketball Pick – Lean Ole Miss

Stanford vs. Utah  9:00 ET  PAC-12N
An initial look at this Pac-12 contest this morning was a bit of an eyebrow-raiser being a college basketball handicapper. Utah is no doubt better than Stanford and is riding a 15-0 and 11-3 ATS streak at the Huntsman Center, but Stanford is both talented and unpredictable and the opening NCAA basketball odds of the Utes at -12 appeared high. It turns out I was not alone in my thinking and the new number has Utah at -10, even though the Utes are 15-5 ATS this season. For this contest, how the home team is able to contain the Pac-12’s leading scorer Chasson Randle, who is 14 of 24 from the field - 7 of 14 from 3-point range - while scoring 22 points in each of the last two matchups, will matter directly.

College Basketball Pick – Lean Stanford

CS-Fullerton vs. UC Davis 10:00 ET
Today I was on Yahoo Sports Radio talking about UC-Davis being one of the best bets to use for college basketball picks, leading the Big West Conference at 8-1 SU and ATS and showcasing a 14-4 spread record on the season. As I stated, UC-Davis had NEVER been a double digit favorite in a Big West game since joining the conference in 2007 and they had not had a winning record since 2003-04, their last season in D-2. Evidently, that string will know continue with the Aggies lowered from -12 to -8.5 against CS-Fullerton who is 1-7 and 2-6 ATS in conference play. Possibly the thought was the conference’s leading scorer Corey Hawkins would return after missing last week and word has slipped out he will sit again. Also, if you look at UC-Davis lines all season, clearly they have gotten the attention of linemakers and bettors alike and possibly this number was like banana cream pie, a little too rich for some people’s taste.

St. Louis Blues vs. Tampa Bay Lightning  7:35 ET  NHLN
Tampa Bay is in first place in the Atlantic Division, but they may not be there for long unless they show improvement over a difficult 12-day stretch. Besides St. Louis tonight, who also has 74 points in the standings, the Lightning head west next for a five-game road excursion and are only 4-4 in their last eight contests. The Blues recently dropped a couple games, yet are 13-3 since Jan. 3rd and have sunk from +105 to -105 on Florida’s west coast. The home team is 4-1 since 2011, yet St. Louis off their 2-1 victory over Arizona and is 14-2 off a one-goal win, which is why you should back them with your NHL picks
