The NCAA basketball regular season continues to wind to a close ahead of all the madness that March will have to offer. Using the updated against the spread results at BetOnline, there are a few hot teams across the power conferences that bettors might want to keep riding in this week’s matchups.

ACC: North Carolina Tar Heels

The Tar Heels are playing some of their best ball of the season during their current five-game winning streak both straight up and ATS. Part of this run includes a big 82-78 win at home against rival Duke as 1.5-point favorites on Feb. 8 and more recently Saturday’s 93-76 romp over Louisville as one-point favorites on the road. North Carolina has scored at least 82 points in each of its last five wins heading into Wednesday’s game at Syracuse. Luke Maye and Joel Berry have combined to average 36.1 points a game this season.

Big East: Georgetown Hoyas

The Hoyas are well down the standings in the Big East at 5-9 SU, but with last Tuesday’s 87-83 upset against Butler as 11.5-point road underdogs, they have covered the spread in their last five games. The first three covers were in road losses to Creighton, Xavier and Providence before beating Seton Hall at home on Feb. 10 as five-point underdogs. Georgetown faces the top team in the Big East, Xavier, on Wednesday at home. The Hoyas are 9-4 ATS this season when closing as an underdog.

Big 12: Baylor Bears

Baylor has turned things around in February with a SU five-game winning streak, and it has now covered in its last six games following Saturday’s 59-57 upset against Texas Tech as a one-point home underdog. The Bears are 7-7 SU in the Big 12 and they will play host to West Virginia this Tuesday night with 5-1 mark both SU and ATS in their last six home games. The total has stayed UNDER in four of those six games, and it has stayed UNDER in three of their last four games overall.

Big Ten: Indiana Hoosiers

The Hoosiers are still well off the pace in the Big Ten standings at 9-7 SU in conference play, but they are playing at top form the right time of the year with a SU four-game winning streak that includes Saturday’s 84-82 road win against Iowa. That game closed as a PICK'EM (i.e. no favorite) to extend Indiana’s winning streak ATS to five games as part of a profitable 10-5-1 record ATS in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers will stay on the road this week to face Nebraska on Tuesday night. The total has stayed UNDER in six of eight road games this season against a conference foe.

Pac-12: Arizona Wildcats

The Wildcats continue to set the pace in the Pac-12 at 11-3 SU as part of their 21-6 record on the year. They have not been a solid betting team in this conference with a 5-8-1 record ATS, but last Thursday’s 77-70 road upset against rival Arizona State as one-point underdogs was the third cover in the last five games. The total has stayed UNDER in Arizona’s last three games. It will face both Oregon State (Thursday) and Oregon (Saturday) on the road this week

SEC: Mississippi State Bulldogs

Mississippi State is another team that has not been a major factor in its respective conference’s regular season title run at 7-7 SU in the SEC. However, the Bulldogs have been a cash cow for bettors since late January with a 7-0 run ATS in their last seven games while going 5-2 SU. They will have a chance to extend this lucrative betting run on Tuesday night against Texas A&M on the road. The total has gone OVER in six of their last eight games overall and in their last four on the road.
