Kansas State and TCU traded haymakers in their two regular-season matchups. How will the rubber game of the series go? Here are the best TCU-Kansas State college basketball picks based on the top NCAAB odds.

No. 3 Kansas State (23-8) and No. 6 TCU (20-11) split the season series, with each side scoring a blowout win at home. Now both the Horned Frogs and Wildcats will look to boost their NCAA Tournament resume on a neutral court.

Though the margin on the point spread is thin, the value is with the underdog given the recent play of both teams.

Neither regular-season game was close between Kansas State and TCU, with the home-court advantage turning into double-digit wins in both cases. In Kansas City, the Wildcats would seemingly get the more favorable crowd due to proximity, but the sportsbooks are giving a slight edge to TCU.

While not trying to read too far into a perceived crowd advantage for Kansas State, I still like the Wildcats based on the recent performance of both teams down the stretch. Kansas State rides into the Big 12 Tournament on a four-game winning streak, with victories over several tournament-caliber teams during that span.

Kansas State holds the third-highest T-rank in the Big 12 over that four-game stretch leading into Thursday. While the Big 12 is the toughest conference in the nation, it’s notable that TCU is getting far less love from the metrics during that time, sitting ninth in the league in T-Rank.

With two teams that play similar styles on both sides of the ball, this game could come down to the final possession. For that reason, I like the side getting two points, especially since that side has been playing superior basketball lately.
