There will be a lot of speculation favoring the Bonnies in this matchup based on the history and situation. Here are my NCAA basketball pick for tonight's game.

St. Josephs vs. St. Bonaventure
This “home/neutral” site figures to be a clear detriment to the Bonnies, who will be playing their first neutral game of the year and sacrificing the advantage they have with the Reilly Center, where they are 14-2 SU this season (compared to 7-5 SU on the road). These teams met earlier this season in Philly, where the Bonnies came away with an (83-73) win, giving St. Joes one of their only 3 home losses this year (others to Villanova and VCU) at Hagan Arena. To followers of the A-10 that win by Bonnie was not surprising, as it was the 4TH TIME IN THE LAST 2 YEARS THAT ST. JOE’S HAS LOST THIS MATCHUP, ALL BY BETWEEN 9 AND 11 POINTS. ENOUGH!!

Along with that recent series dominance, there are other reasons why St. Bonnie will have its backers. On a current 3-game win streak, in which they upset Dayton, then squeezed by Duquesne and UMass at home. The Bonnies have ascended to a 20-7 SU record on the periphery of the NCAA Bubble. There is little doubt that tI feelhey will be playing this game with great need. An improved offense to 77 PPG with the best foul shooting in the nation at 78% are other reasons why Bonnie fans have hope. In addition, they trail the Hawks by 1 game in the league standings. So, a victory tonight would give them the tiebreaker advantage. But before you pull the trigger on this “Bubble Dog with Dominance,” I urge you to consider the case for St. Joes.

Betting Analysis
Hawks’ 22 year veteran HC Martelli holds the title of “best conference road coach in the nation.” When his teams are .500 or better, they are 85-42 ATS on the conference trail, including 7-1 SU ATS this season. In fact, if you are looking for the best road/neutral team in the nation, that would be these Hawks who soar into Rochester tonight with a record of 12-2 SU ATS in road or neutral games. Do everything, retro swing man, DeAndre Bembry, is the straw that stirs the drink. But emerging senior force, Isiah Miles, has lit it up in his final year, often leading the team in scoring. These two have a size and athletic advantage over the respected backcourt tandem of Posley and Adams, each of whom are barely 6 feet tall.

There are ample reasons to back the Bonnies in this game, but this bureau stands firmly on the side of the Hawks to gain their revenge at this neutral site and solidify their position as a frontrunner for A-10 supremacy. I invite you to put the NCAA basketball odds boards in your favor and join me in my March Madness basketball pick on St. Josephs tonight.
