🏀 St. Francis vs. Central Connecticut ATS prediction & best player prop bet pick
Here's why I'm betting on Central Connecticut to cover the spread (-9.5) while targeting Jordan Jones Over 16.5 points as my best player prop bet pick for today:
✅ Central Connecticut to cover the spread (-9.5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beating a team three times in one season is difficult, but these two teams aren’t even remotely close when it comes to performance on the court. The Blue Devils are outscoring their opponents by 9.8 points per game, while the Red Flash have given up more points than they’ve scored this season.
Statistically, the Blue Devils are better than the Red Flash in nearly every category, including points scored, points against, field goal percentage, assists per game, rebounds per game, and steals per game. The Blue Devils’ dominance in these categories was on display in both regular-season meetings between these two teams.
Additionally, the Blue Devils get to play this game on their home court, a place they haven’t lost since Jan. 12. The spread is at 10.5 at many of our best sports betting sites, so get in at Caesars while the number is in single digits. That said, I would gladly take this up to 12.5.
📊 Best odds: -110 via Caesars (bet $11 to win $10)

🔥 Jordan Jones Over 16.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jones is only averaging 14.6 points per game, but this is a five-star play nonetheless. He has scored at least 17 points in both NEC Tournament games and in six of his last eight games overall. But more importantly, Jones has been phenomenal against the Red Flash this season.
In his first game against St. Francis, Jones scored 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field. He followed up that performance with a 24-point game on Feb. 15.
He shouldn’t have tired legs since the Northeast Conference gives time off between each tournament game. But even if he’s a little fatigued, he doesn’t rely solely on threes to score. He was just 1-of-4 from deep in the quarterfinals, but he finished 7-of-13 overall with 19 points.
📊 Best odds: +100 via FanDuel (bet $10 to win $10)
🎯 Expert St. Francis vs. Central Connecticut score prediction
🔮 Expert score prediction: Central Connecticut 76, St. Francis (PA) 63
I expect the Blue Devils to top their season average against a team they’ve dominated twice this season. The Red Flash are bound to struggle, just as they’ve done in both previous meetings, as they will go well below their season average against one of the better defenses in the country.
Don’t be surprised if the final score is even uglier than our projection. After all, St. Francis did score just 59 in its first game against Central Connecticut.
📊 Best odds: +16000 via DraftKings (bet $10 to win $1,600)
