Friday night is the night in NCAA College Basketball where the smaller schools duke it out for supremacy. In the betting world, it's just another day in the office as we've found the decisive edge in providing you with a nightly profit.

Yale Bulldogs (21-8, 10-2) vs. Harvard Crimson (20-6,10-2)
The Rivalry
In this case, it's not about the historic rivalry between these two universities, it's about the top 2 teams in the Ivy League. These teams are so much better than the rest of their conference that they are the only 2 teams in the Ivy League Conference with a winning record. That said, they may not be as good as their record indicates as their level of opposition is pretty low in inter-conference play. This is still a huge game as both teams come into this game with identical records in inter-conference play as the Crimson are a 4.5 point betting favorite at home.

Wesley Saunders
Harvard has tried to match skill with one of the best teams in the nation in Virginia and got smashed, 76-27, but against Yale, they came up with a 52-50 victory in New Haven.

These teams are dead even in talent. For Harvard, Wesley Saunders is the key go to guy. This senior guard out of Los Angeles comes into this game playing exceptionally well as of late.

In his last 3 game, Saunders has elevated his game, averaging 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. He's also a great defender. This is a player that is a great shooter from inside the arc, but not a great 3-points shooter. That still doesn't stop Saunders from trying. In a game like this, the play of Saunders could be the difference in the game.

Yale has a win over UConn on their resume, but the only way that they see the NCAA Tournament is by winning the Ivy League Conference Tournament and that will most likely go through Harvard.

For the Bulldogs, senior Javier Duren is their best overall player. While Justin Sears is the best rebounder on the team, he's very inconsistent offensively. Duren isn't an efficient shooter, but he produces consistently on a game in, game out basis. In his last 2 games, he's scored 19 points in each game and is coming off of a 4 of 15 shooting effort in a win over Penn. Look for Duren to shrug it off and be a major factor in this game.

Place your NCAA Basketball pick on Yale expecting them to return the favor on Harvard's home court and keep this game close.

Columbia Lions (13-13, 5-7) vs. Pennsylvania Quakers (7-18, 2-9)
Another Blowout?
While record doesn't mean as much in the Ivy League as it does in other conferences, Columbia put a major beating on Penn the last time that these two teams met, winning 83-56 on February 7th.

The NCAA Basketball odds point spread is very low as Columbia is a mere 4 point betting favorite on the road and I love the Lions in this spot. Columbia gave Harvard a decent fight in their last game, losing 80-70 while leading scorer, Maodo Lo poured in 33 points in the defeat. In his last 4 games, Lo has had two games of 33 points or more and won't be stopped in this game.

The Quakers also had a good showing in their last game, losing to Yale,55-50. That said ,this is a team which has lost 7 consecutive games, can't rebound, and averages just 60 points per game. Their leading scorer, Tony Hicks, will give Columbia a bit of trouble where matchups are concerned as Hicks can shoot the 3-ball. That said, Columbia will defeat the Quakers quite easily on this Friday night as the regular season will have just 3 games remaining on the schedule
