Wednesday's college basketball parlay picks include laying points with a Mountain West team looking to bounce back and a surprising road underdog on the moneyline in the WAC.

It’s a busy night of action in college basketball across the country. Conference play is officially in full swing and the schedule is only going to get more intense in the weeks to come.

As teams attempt to sort out where they stack up in the early stages of league play, bettors will likely be able to find some edges as a result of the market either over or undervaluing certain schools. Health and safety protocols have also caused some scheduling chaos in recent weeks, particularly in the Mountain West Conference where one of Wednesday's featured parlay picks comes from.

Here are my top parlay picks for Wednesday’s college basketball action (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on 1-to-5-star scale).

Wednesday's Top College Basketball Parlay Picks

Utah State vs. Colorado State -5.5 (-115) ????Dixie State +8.5 (-110) vs. California Baptist ??Utah Valley (+100) vs. Seattle ???

College Basketball Parlay Predictions

Colorado State -5.5 (-115)

After having two games postponed and another canceled, Colorado State was back in action last week. The Rams got past Air Force by eight points before suffering their first loss of the season in ugly fashion against San Diego State on Saturday. Meanwhile, Utah State snuck past New Mexico on Saturday after losing a stunner to Air Force last Wednesday.

The Rams are bound to be hungry for a bounce-back performance on Wednesday after losing by 30 to San Deigo State. In guards David Roddy and Isaiah Stevens, CSU has the two best players on the floor in this matchup. While the Aggies boast plenty of depth and experience, they lack the physicality down low to compete with Colorado State.

The point spread for this matchup has already risen 1.5 points from opening and could climb higher still before tip-off. The Mountain West Conference is deep this year, but Colorado State is certainly one of the top teams.

Look for a big response out of the Rams at home after their first defeat of the season.

Dixie State +8.5 (-110)

Although Dixie State has not won a game outright since Dec. 18, the Trailblazers have been competitive against two of the top teams in the WAC since the start of the new year. DSU followed up a 14-point home loss to a loaded Abilene Christian squad with an eight-point road defeat against Utah Valley on Saturday.

The Trailblazers love to get out and push the pace offensively. Their 74.7 average possessions per game are tied for 37th in all of Division I basketball.

Meanwhile, California Baptist may enter Wednesday’s home game with a 10-4 record, but the Lancers are yet to beat a quality opponent this season. CBU also lost on Saturday to an awful Chicago State team.

The spread that favors Cal Baptist by 8.5 is simply too large relative to the perceived gap between these teams. Roll with Dixie State to cover for our college basketball parlay picks.

Utah Valley (+100)

The point spread is only 1.5 points for tonight’s WAC matchup between Utah Valley and Seattle. Despite the Redhawks being the home team, there’s an argument to be made that the betting odds list the wrong side as the favorite.

The last time Utah Valley played a road game, it knocked off Pac-12 foe Washington by double-digits. The Wolverines won four of their last five games overall with the only loss coming to a very good Abilene Christian program.

Meanwhile, Seattle lost to that same Huskies team three days prior to UVU beating them. In addition, eight of Seattle’s 10 wins on the season have come against teams out of the SWAC or MEAC, Division II opponents, and an awful Chicago State team. Needless to say, there is a substantial difference between the Wovlerines’ 11-4 record and the Redhawks’ 10-4 mark coming into Wednesday.

It also never hurts to bet on the side with the best player. When it comes to this matchup, Utah Valley certainly has that in center Fardaws Aimaq. We’ll ride with the short road underdog to help beef up the return on our college basketball parlay picks.

Combined College Basketball Parlay Odds: Colorado State -5.5 (-115) + Dixie State +8.5 (-110) + Utah Valley (+100) = +613
