It's possible that one of the eight Pac-12 teams in action Wednesday will defy the basketball odds and win the conference. First, they have to survive the opening round.

Jason's 2015-16 record as of Mar. 8: 10-9 ATS, 1-2 Totals

Are you ready for some Pac-12 basketball? In Part 1 of our look at the Pac-12 tourney, we laid out the NCAA basketball odds for each of the 12 teams involved – yes, they all get to play for the conference title, even the Washington State Cougars (+60000). Now it's time for Part 2. All four first-round games take place Wednesday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, so let's get these NCAA basketball picks in a circle. Oh, by the way, if you want to watch any these games, you'll need the Pac-12 Network.

#8 Stanford Cardinal vs. #9 Washington Huskies (3:00 p.m. ET)
The betting lines look pretty tight for this one. Washington (17-13 SU, 16-12 ATS) is a 2.5-point favorite over Stanford (15-14 SU, 11-15 ATS), and Sports-Reference has the Huskies valued 2.4 points higher than the Cardinal on their Simple Rating System. However, Washington did win this matchup 64-53 as a 5.5-point home chalk last month, and Stanford suspended senior point guard Christian Sanders (7.4 PER, –1.0 BPM) last week for violating team rules.

#12 Washington State Cougars vs. #5 Colorado Buffaloes (5:30 p.m. ET)
Not much of a contest here – or is it? The Buffaloes (21-10 SU, 17-11 ATS) needed overtime to beat the last-place Cougars (9-21 SU, 12-17 ATS) 88-81 last month as 11-point home faves. This time around, Colorado is only favored by 9.5 points, but there's a 10.7-point gap between the two teams according to SRS. The Buffs are 4-2 ATS since that overtime win, while the Cougs are 2-4 ATS. We'll take the chalk and the premium for carrying the extra half-point.

#10 UCLA Bruins vs. #7 USC Trojans (9:00 p.m. ET)
The Battle of Los Angeles may look close on paper; again, only 2.1 points separate these two rivals in SRS, and the Trojans (20-11 SU, 17-13-1 ATS) are 2-point favorites over the Bruins (15-16 SU, 11-20 ATS) as we go to press. But USC handily won both their regular-season games, and UCLA has dropped four straight SU and ATS. Easy pickings.

#11 Arizona State Sun Devils vs. #6 Oregon State Beavers   (11:30 p.m. ET)
If you want to bet on the Beavers (18-11 SU, 15-13 ATS) and senior PG Gary Payton II, you might have to overpay. The Sun Devils (15-16 SU, 14-15-1 ATS) are exactly two points back on the SRS charts, but they're getting up to 3.5 points on Wednesday. Arizona State won this matchup 86-68 back in January as a 5-point home chalk. And Oregon State will likely be without freshman forward Tres Tinkle (20.8 PER, +5.6 BPM) after he missed the last two games with an injured right foot.
