Oregon State (12-7, 3-5 Pac-12)
Oregon State are sat 9h in Pac-12 standings with a 3-5 SU record in the conference, but they are a solid 12-7 on the season and looking to improve to 13-7 at the expense of the highly-touted Arizona Wildcats. If the NCAA basketball odds were any indication however it’s a monumental task ahead. The Beavers are matched anywhere from 10.5-to-11-point underdogs at the sports betting exchange.

On the bright side, odds makers opened with a whopping 13.5-point NCAAB line at Pinnacle for this game but it’s been bet down to a low of 10.5-points now. Other sportsbooks that sport the same line include Heritage, 5Dimes and BetOnline.

The Beavers are coming off a loss to Arizona State, an 86-68 loss as the mere 5-point underdogs. It marked their fourth loss in the last five games, fifth in the last seven games, which is a cause for concern to their fans. It also marked the fourth time they failed to cover in the last seven games and that has them slipping to 9-9 ATS on the season with a 3.7-point winning margin and a plus 0.8-point differential versus the spread.

Oregon State Trends
On the road, the Beavers are 2-3 ATS with a 4.2-point losing margin and a negative 2.2-point differential versus the spread.

After a loss, they are 4-2 ATS though with a 4.7-point winning margin and a plus 2.3-point differential versus the spread.

In the Conference, they are 4-4 ATS with a 2.8-point losing margin and a negative 0.6-point differential versus the spread.

As away underdogs, they are 2-2 ATS with a 7.2-point losing margin and a negative 2.2-point differential versus the spread.

Arizona (16-5, 4-4 Pac-12)
Although the Arizona Wildcats are ranked and boast a 16-5 SU record, they are coming off back-to-back losses in their last two games and four losses in their last seven games, a run of form that takes some of the shine off of their rather favorable NCAAB odds, giving pause to some college hoop bettors.

Then again, all those losses were rather narrow. They lost 87-84 to UCLA, 103-101 to USC 74-73 to California and 83-75 to Oregon State. Granted they were favored in all those games quite significantly so take from it what you will.

In their last seven games, the Wildcats are just 3-4 ATS, which sees them slip to 11-10 ATS on the season, albeit with a hefty 13.8-point winning margin and a plus 1.3-point differential versus the spread.

Arizona Trends
Arizona are 7-5 ATS at home with a whopping 21.5-point winning margin and a plus 3.4-point differential versus the spread.

In Pac-12 play, they are 4-4 ATS with an 8.5-point winning margin and a plus 1.4-point differential versus the spread.

Betting Verdict
The Wildcats will be looking to bounce back to form against their Pac-12 rivals the Beavers tonight, all while trading as the hefty double-digit favorites on the NCAAB odds board. By the stats, there’s good reason to believe the Wildcats could both win and cover this game – when they’re on form they are tough to beat and they rack up the points with abandon. Only a couple of weeks ago they crushed Washington 99-67 as the 14-point home chalk – one of many big wins and covers on their solid season. Recent form is a cause for concern undoubtedly and it can’t be ignored. But the Wildcats are at home and they stack up as the better NCAA basketball pick in our opinion.
