Our NCAAB handicapper has a trio of totals to boost your bankroll on Sunday. Read on as he breaks down three games you should add to your NCAA basketball picks of the day.

Washington State vs. Utah (Over 145.5)
It was just three weeks ago that the Utah Utes (18-7, 7-5) dropped 92 points on the Washington State Cougars (9-15, 1-11), in route to a 92-71 win that went well over the posted total of 146. Fast forward to today, and not much has changed for the Cougars, as they given up 84 points per game on the road since that game against Utah. Meanwhile, the Utes have averaged 86.3 points per game at home since that game. With a current listed total of 145.5, there seems to be plenty of room in the pace played by these two teams to go over the total.

Utah has been running a very efficient offense of late, and in their last four games they have exceeded their already great 49.4% field goal completion percentage average on the season – shooting well over 50% in most games. That has led to a ATS trend of 4-1 favoring the Over in Utah games in their last five. This trend is even greater at home for the Utes, were the Over is cashing at an 11-2 clip.

With Washington State going 0-5 SU and 0-5 ATS in their last five games on the road against Utah, expect the Utes to dictate this game. And with Utah being a 16-point favorite, don’t expect Washington State to break the 0-5 SU streak in this one. The Cougars have stopped playing much defense as this season winds down for them, and Utah should score at will on WAZZU, which makes the over of 145.5 a great Sunday NCAA basketball pick.

Canisius vs. Saint Peters (Under 140)
These two teams also met about a month ago, with St. Peter’s (10-13, 8-6) heading into Canisius (11-15, 6-9) and delivering a 70-53 loss a while holding Canisius to 29.7% shooting from the field. St. Peter’s on the other hand, had to shoot 51.0% from the field to amass 70 points in their effort. Although they were able to do that with less attempts than Canisius, getting out shot 64-49. The O/U total in that last meeting was 150, so the result of 123 was well under the line.

For this game, the NCAA basketball odds boards have the O/U listed at 140, which is just under the suggested score these two teams would put up if they scored their season averages. Canisius is averaging 77.6 points per game, while St. Peter’s is averaging 66.0. However, St. Peter’s plays some decent defense at home, allowing only 63.9 points per game there. With their holding Canisius to 53 points in the game a month ago, there is a strong indication that St. Peter’s could hold Canisius in the 60’s in this game as well.

Both of these teams have been trending under as well, with Canisius cashing under tickets in 6 of their last 8 games on the road, and 5 of 7 of the last games for Saint Peter’s. With both of these teams shooting an average of 41.8% from the field this year, there isn’t much hope for a offensive explosion from either team. Take Under 140 in this matchup as one of your Sunday NCAAB Picks.

USC vs. Arizona (Over 155)
This game has some interesting trends for Over bettors to consider. First we have some good indicators with home/away splits, with Arizona cashing Over bets at a 12-5 rate this season and USC cashing the over on the road at 5-3. Second, we have USC’s defensive behavior on the road. The Trojans hold opponents to 79.1 points per game on the road this year, good for 272nd in the country. Compare that with an 81.4 scoring average for Arizona at home and we have reason to believe that the Wildcats should be scoring in the 80’s in this game.

On the other hand, USC holds the 15th ranked offense in the NCAA with 83.3 points per game, going down to 78.8 points per game on the road. They play up tempo and can put up some points. With the O/U total currently listed at 155, and both teams having a realistic shot of playing in the 80’s, the Over has some value here. This game should also go well over the 142 scored in regulation in the last game, which ended 103-101 in 4OT in favor of USC. I’m taking Over 155 here as one of my Sunday college basketball picks.
