Our NCAAB handicapper has spotted two Pac-12 matchups with totals value. Here he breaks down the games and makes his Sunday NCAA basketball picks.

California vs. Washington State (Over 143.5)
The Washington State Cougars (9-17, 1-13) are just hoping that the season ends soon so the drubbings will stop. Looking forward to a home date with the California Golden Bears (18-8, 8-5) as a 10-point home underdog, it doesn’t look likely to end soon. These teams haven’t met this year, but in their meeting last season California won convincingly 84-59 in Berkeley. That score went under the listed total of 146 as Cal covered as a 3.5-point home favorite.

Losers of 12 straight, the Cougars last played Stanford to a 72-56 loss on Thursday night. In that game, they were behind early, but shot over 60% from the field in the second half to pull within two before Stanford was able run away with it.

California has won 4 games straight as their offense has put up an average of 80 points in those games. Their scoring binge should not stop as they visit Pullman on Sunday night. The over is 5-0 in California’s last visits to Washington State, and the over is 10-2 in the last twelve games between these two teams overall.

And finally, a personal issue has kept Washington State coach, Ernie Kent, from the team this week. This will be an unfocused Washington State team that will not be playing much defense, and I expect that California nearly reaches 90 points in this game. Washington State should be able to score enough to cash the over on the other side, so take over 143.5 at 5Dimes as one of your Sunday NCAAB Picks.

Utah vs. USC (Over 148)
Staying in the Pac-12 for my next pick, two of the leagues top offenses meet as the Utah Utes (20-7, 9-5) visit the USC Trojans (19-7, 8-5) in what should be a good game on Sunday night. Both of these teams are coming off of close wins, the Utes winning at UCLA 75-73 and USC winning at home against Colorado 79-72. These teams haven’t played this year, but Utah has been on an ATS streak against USC taking the last 5 meetings SU and ATS. USC can be found as a Pick in this game at Pinnacle, all the way up to a 2-point favorite at BetOnline. The O/U total opened at 150 at Pinnacle NCAA basketball odds board, but has been bet all the way down to 148.5 at the same book.

Utah is the wild card in this game, as their overall scoring this year has them averaging 79 points per game, good for 47th in the country, but they only score 69.5 points per game on the road. The Utes will need to score more than their road average to get this game over the total. Recent trends have them picking up their offense of late though, and they should be able to reach the 70’s tonight.

USC on the other hand, will be lifting the bigger weights in getting this game over the listed total. USC scored 85.2 points per game at home, good for 25th in the country in that statistic. USC last played on Wednesday, so they will be coming into this game with one more day of rest than Utah. Don’t expect for the Trojans to use this extra day of rest to lock down on defense, as they will pick up the pace and try to run the Utes out of the gym. The winning team in this game will touch 80 points, which should be enough to make the over of 148 at Heritage the right Sunday NCAA basketball picks.
