Our college basketball expert Ross Benjamin has gone 8-4-1 ATS the last five betting days with his underdog NCAA basketball picks. Go inside for Saturday night’s three best plays.

St. Joseph’s vs. Rhode Island 6:00 PM ET
St. Joe’s enters this contest having won six in a row, and has gone 13-1 in its last fourteen games. The Hawks have been lights out in true road games this season by going a perfect 6-0 SU&ATS. Their defensive play of late has been outstanding. St. Joe’s is allowing 61.2 points per game, holding opponents to just 39.9% shooting, limiting them to a paltry 27.2% from three point territory, and their foes are averaging a mere 14 free throw attempts per contest during its last five outings. They’re clearly the better defensive and rebounding team in this matchup.

Current NCAA basketball odds provide the best combination of number and price for this specific wager.

Seton Hall vs. Creighton 8:00 PM ET
Seton Hall may have played its worst game of the season in a home loss to Creighton. They’ll look to atone for that dismal performance tonight in Omaha. The Pirates are 5-0 ATS in its last five true road games, and won three of those contests outright. They’ve been stout defensively over their previous five games by holding opponents to a combined 38.4% shooting from the floor.

Creighton has been in a bit of a shooting funk in its previous five games. During that stretch, they were just 40.8% from the field, and converted on only 31.9% of their three point attempts. That’s far below their season averages of 47.7% and 37.0% from three point land. The Bluejays have historically possessed a strong home court advantage. However, that’s subsided in the past two seasons, and they’ve lost 3 times already at home during this 2015-2016 campaign. In addition, Creighton is coming off a disheartening loss at Georgetown, blowing an 8 point lead with less than two minutes to play. That kind of defeat is hard to overcome in any type of quick manner.

This sets up very nicely for the road underdog, and I’ll be using them for one of my Saturday NCAA basketball picks.

Providence vs. Georgetown 8:00 PM ET
Georgetown was the beneficiary of a complete meltdown by Creighton in the final two minutes of their last game, and escaped with a 1 point home win. In doing so, the Hoyas avoided their fifth home loss of the season. Three of those defeats came at the hands of Radford, Monmouth, and UNC-Asheville. On the other hand they have some quality wins and narrow losses versus top flight opponents. In the nutshell, the most consistent aspect of the Hoyas game is their inconsistency.

You may be surprised to know that #10 Providence is 5-0 SU&ATS in true road games. They haven’t exactly beaten lightweights either, knocking of the likes of #6 Villanova, Butler, and Creighton.
