One of the first games on Wednesday night’s NCAAB card is a rematch in the Big East, and we have a free pick for the collision between Villanova and Georgetown.

Willie’s NCAAB season picks record: 57-39-2 (+16.00 units)

Villanova (20-6 SU, 17-9 ATS) at Georgetown (15-10 SU, 9-15-1 ATS)

Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. ET (FS1)

Free NCAAB Pick: Villanova ATS

Best Line Offered: BetOnline

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3639284, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,999996,999991,93,19], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Villanova’s three-game road trip got off to a losing start this past weekend against St. John’s at Madison Square Garden. Jay Wright’s Wildcats will now try to regroup and complete a season sweep of the Georgetown Hoyas in Washington, D.C.

A rematch from a Super Bowl Sunday contest in Philadelphia, the Wildcats’ 77-65 decision came near the end of a season-high 11-game win streak. The final just covered a closing 11½-point spread and safely stayed "under" a 155-point total. No. 16 Villanova comes into this one having lost two of three to see its lead in the Big East dwindle to a half-game over Marquette, which hosts Butler on Wednesday. Georgetown has dropped its last two to fall to sixth in the conference race.

[/]{"component":"video", "type":"youtube", "url":"", "videoSize":"Large" }[/]

'Over' 17-6 In Georgetown’s Last 23 Home Games

The Wildcats blew a golden opportunity to begin this three-game road swing with a win over the Red Storm. Lined as 3½-point chalk at Bookmaker, Villanova was up by 14 with 12½ minutes left before the offense went cold and allowed St. John’s to rally for a 71-65 upset. Wright drew a technical foul during a 20-5 Red Storm run, and that turned an already boisterous crowd into a truly nasty group. The Wildcats still have a trip to Xavier this weekend before returning home to host No. 11 Marquette.

Georgetown has been idle for a week since being embarrassed at Seton Hall, 90-75. The Hoyas were left in the Pirates’ dust early in falling behind by 20 during the first half, and Patrick Ewing called his team out following the game when he said, “We didn’t show up.” The loss came on the heels of a 73-69 setback at home to Butler as 2-point chalk, Georgetown shooting less than 30 percent from 3-point range in each contest. The Hoyas will travel to Creighton on Saturday before hosting DePaul and Seton Hall next week.

'Under' Prevails In 4 Of Last 5 Clashes

Villanova’s win a few weeks ago marked the Wildcats’ ninth in a row over Georgetown, though the Hoyas still lead the rivalry 44-39. It also marked Villanova’s fourth-straight cover in the series with the last seven wins by 11 points or more. Georgetown’s last win over the Wildcats came a little more than four years ago in the nation’s capital, a 78-58 upset of what was then a No. 4 Villanova side. Last season’s matchup in D.C. resulted in a lopsided 88-56 Wildcats dubya.

I’m expecting Villanova to play a full 40 minutes this time around, making the Wildcats a fairly easy college basketball pick.
