Our NCAA basketball odds analyst has three underdog selections on Wednesday’s slate. Find out what those picks are and maximize your profits today.

Nebraska vs. Michigan State 6:30PM ET
Nebraska enters this contest today with plenty of momentum. They’ve gone 3-0 SU&ATS in their last three games. Granted those victories came over Big Ten bottom feeders Rutgers, Minnesota, and Illinois. However, their average margin of victory in those contests was a huge 23.5 points per game, and two of those wins came on the road. Nebraska is one of the few teams in the country capable of holding their own on the boards against Michigan State. The Cornhuskers are a massive +18 rebound per game differential during their last five contests.

Michigan State has lost two in a row, and has gone just 3-3 in their last six games. The Spartans are clearly the more talented and better overall team in this matchup. However, asking them to cover this large of a number, versus an opponent riding momentum, is a bit of a tall order. The Spartans also have a huge game coming up next against #7 Maryland, and there’s a chance they’ll be looking ahead.

This game has the feel of last night’s winning pick on Northwestern +12.5 over Maryland. The favorite is assuredly superior, but it falls into a enticing situation regarding the underdog. Following that line of thinking, the sizable road underdog in this matchup will be one of my NCAA basketball picks on Wednesday.

Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee 9:00PM ET
Vanderbilt has been a bit of a disappointment at this juncture of the season. They possess Top 25 caliber talent, but it hasn’t translated to their performance line. As a matter of fact, Vanderbilt has gone 0-4 in true road games this season.

Tennessee is far from a polished product, but there are some positives to build on. The Volunteers have gone 8-1 on its home floor this season. Their only defeat in Knoxville came in narrow 4 point loss at the hands of #10 Texas A&M. This is also a Volunteers team that likes to push the pace of games with defensive pressure. They’ll be facing an opponent (Vanderbilt) tonight that’s shown a propensity at times to succumb to pressure defense. Case in point was their 26 turnovers committed against Arkansas.

Current NCAA basketball odds provide me with a best combination of number and price for this specific wager.

Colorado vs. Washington 10:00 PM ET
Colorado has gone an impressive 3-1 SU&ATS in true road games this season on their way to a 14-4 record. The Buffaloes are an excellent rebounding team that will in all likelihood have their way on the boards tonight, against an opponent (Washington) who’s suspect at best in that area.

Washington certainly plays an exciting brand of basketball, but they’re horrible defensively. During its last five games for example, they allowed an average of 91.4 points per game, and opponents converted on a sizzling hot 42.2% of their three point attempts. That’s not good news considering Wednesday’s opponent (Colorado) shoots a superb 39.9% from beyond the three point arc. The Huskies are far from invincible at home, evidenced by losses this year against UC-Santa Barbara and Oakland.
