The North Carolina Tarheels have been an unstoppable machine thus far this season. I've tailed them plenty of times and I'm sure that many others have also. The Heels have a huge test tonight as they face nationally ranked Indiana at Assembly Hall. Can the Tarheels keep winning as their schedule get's more difficult?

Tons of Momentum

The Tarheels have been putting up huge offensive numbers and after playing a Wisconsin-style game of tough defense in a 71-56 defeat of the Badgers, the Tarheels seems unbeatable as they pass every test that's put in front of them with ease.

The combination of Joel Berry II and Kennedy Meeks have been the leaders on this Tarheels squad as Meeks has dominated the glass and has been productive offensively and Berry II possesses a strong overall efficient game and is the go-to guy offensively on this very deep team.

Coming into the Wisconsin game, we were confident that North Carolina would cover, but we were apprehensive about continuing to ride the "Tarheels winning train" due to Wisconsin's strong defense. In the end, we picked the Tarheels and  Berry II and Meeks were the key reasons for the Tarheels victory.

Joel Berry II finished up the game with a game-high 22 points on 9 of 12 shooting from the field and Kennedy Meeks was a flat out beast on the glass with 16 rebounds to go along with 15 points.

When a team is so well rounded and with experienced players such as North Carolina, they're going to be a difficult team to beat all season long and a contender for the National Championship. Indiana will have the crowd behind them in support, but this matchup is a tall order for the Hoosiers.

Letting Up Their Guard

The Indiana Hoosiers suffered a huge overtime upset loss 2 games ago in which they took Fort Wayne too lightly and were upended 71-68. This is a very demoralizing loss for the Hoosiers who had all of the momentum in the world as they defeated Kentucky in the season opener. The Hooisers must find a way to pick themselves up as they have a huge battle with the Heels tonight.

James Blackmom Jr. Will Play

This is a game-changer for Indiana as Blackmon Jr, who leads the team in scoring, missed his last game due to a knee injury and will be ready to go against North Carolina and could provide the boost the Indiana need's to make this game tight.

In 4 games so far this season, Blackmon II checks in at 20.5 points and 7 rebounds per game. He's an outstanding shooter that can knock down the necessary 3-ball and play solid defense. Blackmon II is shooting 46.9% from beyond the arc and over 50% from the field. I expect him to bring his "A-Game" tonight.

I have been tailing UNC from the beginning and even though the spread is high, I'm not about to stop now. Lay the points with North Caroline for you NCAA basketball picks.
