We're back with another set of college basketball picks and once again we're rolling with two favorites.

Auburn Tigers vs. Florida Gators

The Gators, still unbeaten at home this season, will play host to Auburn this evening and the NCAA basketball betting odds are very much in their favor.

As of now, Florida is laying as many as 17 points to the visitors, while the O/U has opened up at 136. The Gators are 23-2 SU and 11-9-1 ATS, while the Tigers are 12-11 SU and 10-9 against the spread.

Auburn has been playing better as of late, having won four of their last six. They beat Mississippi State, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, with their two defeats coming at LSU and at home to Kentucky.

The Tigers were last in action over the weekend in a 92-82 triumph over the Bulldogs. KT Harrell and Chris Denson both went off, with Harrell putting up 26 points and Denson going for 30 and seven rebounds. Auburn shot 51.0 percent overall in the win.

They're going to need an exceptional performance to stay competitive with the Gators tonight. Florida hasn't lost since December 2nd, having won 17 straight contests ahead of this encounter with the Tigers.

Florida was also on the court over the weekend and they notched an impressive 69-59 road win inside Rupp Arena over Kentucky. The Gators remain undefeated in conference play heading into this evening.

Billy Donovan's men clawed their way to a seven-point win on the road in the first head-to-head meeting with Auburn this season. In the rematch, we look for Florida to be even sharper on both ends of the court, leading to a blowout victory. Lay the chalk with the Gators.

Pick: Florida Gators -17

Illinois Fighting Illini vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers

Our second NCAA basketball pick comes in the Big Ten, with Minnesota set to do battle with Illinois. The Fighting Illini have been struggling in a bad way and could really use a pick-me-up, but they're going to need a complete game to have any chance against the home team here.

Everywhere we look, we see the Golden Gophers favored by 7.5 points, with the O/U at 129. Minnesota is 17-9 SU and 10-11-1 ATS, with the Fighting Illini checking in at 14-12 SU and 9-12-4 ATS.

Both teams have had a lot of trouble in conference play so far. We'll start with Illinois, who have lost two in a row and nine of their last ten overall. Their only win in that span came on the road against Penn State.

Minnesota may be just 6-7 SU in Big Ten play so far, but they've managed to win two of their last three, with two solid wins over Indiana and Northwestern. Sandwiched in between there is a seven-point loss at Wisconsin.

We like the home team tonight, as they've already recorded some nice wins inside Williams Arena. The three that stick out most were victories over Ohio State (63-53), Wisconsin (81-68) and Indiana (66-60).

Overall, the Golden Gophers have lost only twice at home this season and we don't believe another loss will be added to that tally tonight. Look for Minnesota to come out and set the tone early, while getting a nice boost from their excellent home-court advantage.

With that said, let's side with Minnesota to win their third game in four nights against an Illinois team that's a mediocre 5-5-2 ATS away from home this season.

Pick: Minnesota Golden Gophers -7.5
