Late night action from the West Coast features the 3rd seeded Oregon Ducks going up against the sixth seeded Washington Huskies.

Pac-12 Tournament Pick: Oregon vs. Washington

They will play in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 college basketball tournament, with tip off set for 11:30 PM EST from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Several Sportsbooks, including Bovada have listed the Ducks as -3 ½ point favorites on their NCAAB odds boards, but before you rush to the window and lay the chalk, it is worth noting that the underdog is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings between these two teams.

The over/under total is hovering around 132 points, which might seem a bit low, but both the Huskies and Ducks have been involved in low scoring affairs as of late. In fact, Washington is under in 8 of their last 10 games overall, while the Ducks have kept the final score below the number in four straight contests played on neutral territory.

Washington is scoring an average of 67.4 points per game (173) on 43.4% shooting (175) compared to Oregon’s offensive numbers of 71.5 points per game (78) on 44.8% shooting (95) from the field.

On defense, the Huskies are surrendering 66.2 points per game (165) to opponents, while Oregon is holding their foes to just under 64 points per game, with an average of 63.6 (105).

Against the spread, the Huskies boast some nice numbers, including 10-4 ATS in their last 14 when facing a team with a winning record and a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last four contests played on a Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Ducks have been brutalized by the spread, with records of 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games overall, 0-4-1 ATS in their last five matchups played on a Thursday and 0-4 ATS in their last four played on neutral territory. Though the Ducks have been monsters straight up this season...they have been on a lousy trend for our basketball picks to cover the points.

The Pick

For the second times in as many seasons, the Ducks earned the 3rd seed in the tournament, which turns out to be Oregon’s best ever in back-to-back campaigns.  They won two conference tournament titles, back in 2003 and 2007, so this is familiar territory for Oregon.

For the Huskies, they must face the Ducks after blowing a 19-point lead just yesterday against their in state rivals Washington State. However, the Huskies did manage to hold on for the win by beating the Cougars 64-62.

These two teams squared off twice during the season, with Oregon coming away with two victories; and after tonight they will make it a perfect 3-0 versus the Huskies this year.
