UCLA has owned Colorado in Pac-12 Conference play over the years, which makes it a top college basketball pick at the Coors Events Center Friday.

Reset Button
UCLA has a chance to hit the reset button in moving into conference action, which is important to consider when making your NCAA basketball odds, as it looks to snap a three-game losing streak.

The Bruins have won eight of their last nine Pac-12 opening games, while they’ve captured all four meetings against the Buffaloes since becoming conference rivals prior to the 2011-12 campaign.

It’s important to point out that the squad has won its last two trips to Boulder, including a 69-56 victory as one-point underdogs on Jan. 16 of last season.

Over the last two-plus seasons, the squad is 4-2 SUATS after failing to cover the number in three or more consecutive contests.

Back On the Mainland
Colorado has been idle since dropping a 69-66 decision to Hawaii as four-point road favorites in the Diamond Head Classic on Christmas Day, as it looks to improve to 5-0 SU in conference home openers under head coach Tad Boyle.

The Buffaloes have suffered 10 home losses in the last five years, with the Arizona Wildcats and Bruins being the only programs with a pair of wins over that particular period.

Since the start of the 2012-13 season, the team is 5-1 SUATS as home favorites of 3.5 to 6 points, with the UNDER going 4-1 in that situation.

Crash the Boards
The Bruins are second in the conference in averaging 41.8 rebounds per game, which has been made possible by occupying the top spot in grabbing 13.7 boards a contest on the offensive end.

Forward Kevon Looney is the main player to watch in this high-profile matchup, as he’s the only true freshman to be averaging a double-double.

Quite a Trio
Askia Booker, Xavier Johnson and Josh Scott are looking to become the first trio of Colorado teammates to score 1,000 career points in the same season since 2003-04.

Booker is the team’s leading scorer—helped by the fact that he’s averaged 19.3 points on 44 percent shooting from the floor over his last eight affairs.  He enters this game as one of 15 players in school history to log over 3,000 career minutes.

Prediction
I’m going to recommend that readers back the Bruins as one of their NCAA basketball picks, as they’ve gone 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in this series, while the Buffaloes are a mediocre 20-21 ATS versus conference foes since 2012-13.
