Free NCAA Basketball picks for a few of Tuesday's biggest games. Find out where our handicappers believe that the best value lies for college basketball bettors tonight.

Our sports betting focus shifts to basketball now, both NBA and college. We've got two plays on road teams tonight that we are liking the look of, so let's break down each pick as well as the betting odds.

Florida Gators vs. Arkansas Razorbacks

The Gators, who recently moved into the #2 spot in the rankings, will take on Arkansas as double-digit road favorites tonight. The O/U for this SEC Conference battle is at 137.

This Florida team has everything you could ask for. There's plenty of senior leadership in Kenny Boynton, Erik Murphy and Mike Rosario and the Gators have five players averaging at least 9.3 points per contest.

Not only is Florida putting up 74.0 PPG on 49.6 percent shooting overall and 39.1 percent from three, but they've also been elite defensively. The Gators have allowed just 51.0 PPG (36.0 percent shooting) so far this season, the second-best mark in the nation, and over their last five they've given up a mere 49.2 PPG.

As for Arkansas, they've had a decent year up until this point, but lack quality wins to their name. Their most impressive victory came at home over Mississippi State, but other than that they've been beating up on a lot of the weaker teams in the SEC.

Over the last two years, Florida has demolished the Razorbacks, winning 75-43 at home in 2011 and 98-68 on the road last season. We realize the likes of Chandler Parsons and Bradley Beal aren't around anymore, but the Gators are still absolutely loaded and should be able to take care of Arkansas once more.

Florida has been taking no prisoners on the road, going 7-3 ATS thus far. Over their last five matchups away from home, all of which were both SU and ATS victories, they've won by an average margin of 23.2 points.

We really like the look of the Gators this season. This team is for real and, barring a complete meltdown, we believe they'll cruise over Arkansas tonight.

Florida State Seminoles vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

It's been quite the fall from grace for the Seminoles, who took the ACC by storm last season. This year has been much more of a struggle, but we still believe Florida State is worth a chance with your college basketball picks tonight. They'll be on the road versus Georgia Tech.

Current NCAA Basketball odds have the Yellow Jackets favored by 3.5 points, though neither team has been too successful against the spread this season. The home team has gone 9-9 ATS, with Florida State at 8-11 ATS.

So why back the Seminoles? Well, for one, Michael Snaer is still around and he's tormented Georgia Tech throughout his collegiate career. As a sophomore he hit 6-of-7 shots for 15 points in a 72-63 Florida State win, and last year he dropped 21 points (7-of-10 FG) to go along with three assists and five steals in a 68-54 victory.

Snaer and Okaro White (12.4 PPG and 5.4 RPG) have been the catalysts for the team this season, and there's been even more added responsibility since Terrance Shannon went down with a neck sprain. It's unlikely we'll see Snaer and White struggle like they did against Duke a few days ago, when they combined to shoot 6-of-21 from the floor for a total of 14 points. Look for them to bounce back tonight.

Meanwhile, Georgia Tech is a young team – their two leading scorers (Marcus Georges-Hunt and Robert Carter) are both freshmen – and we're not sold that they can get the job done against Florida State.

The Seminoles have won seven straight in this series, and while they've essentially fallen off the map this season, we still feel they are the right side against a Georgia Tech squad that hasn't exactly been killing it this year either.

For the second of my free picks, we are backing Florida State (6-3 ATS on the road this season) to cash as road dogs. Good luck!
