Two favorites stick out after going through the entire NCAA basketball slate. Which two picks are we taking to the books tonight?

Kentucky Wildcats vs. Ole Miss Rebels

How will the Wildcats respond after losing their first game at home? Tonight they're back out on the road, this time against Ole Miss.

Current NCAA basketball odds offerings show Kentucky favored by 4.5 to 5 points. So far this season, the Wildcats have gone 19-6 SU and 11-10-2 ATS, with the Rebels at 16-9 SU and 8-10-3 against the spread.

We last saw Kentucky in action in that 59-69 loss to Florida, while Ole Miss comes in having lost two straight and three of their last four.

The Wildcats will be feeling very confident after already having beaten the Rebels by 16 earlier this season.

Five different Kentucky players hit double figures, with Willie Cauley-Stein leading the way with 18 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks. The Wildcats had a huge advantage inside, out-rebounding Ole Miss 36-22.

That size disparity is one of the reasons we believe the Wildcats are worth taking as one of your NCAA basketball picks. Kentucky has also looked much more focused on the road over recent weeks, winning three straight contests over Missouri, Mississippi State and Auburn.

The Rebels have allowed 73.4 PPG over their last five, while the Wildcats have been quite a bit better at 65.4 PPG surrendered. John Calipari has these future pros actually playing defense, and with Cauley-Stein and Julius Randle likely to dominate inside, we're backing a Kentucky SU win and ATS cover.

Pick: Kentucky Wildcats -4.5

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Tennessee Volunteers

Quietly the Bulldogs are playing their best basketball of the season. Winners of four straight, they'll try to make it five when they visit Knoxville to do battle with the Volunteers.

Despite Georgia's improved play, they're not given much of a chance tonight. Tennessee is favored by nine points in the NCAA basketball betting odds, while the O/U is holding steady at 132.

These two teams have very similar records, with Tennessee at 15-10 SU and 13-10 ATS and Georgia sporting a 14-10 SU mark to go along with a 12-10 record against the number. The Volunteers are 11-3 SU at home, while the Bulldogs are just 2-5 SU on the road.

Georgia's on a nice run right now, but their wins have come over some of the weakest opposition in the SEC. The step-up in competition starts now and we think the Volunteers are the right side with our sports picks tonight.

Cuonzo Martin's gang has dropped two in a row, falling on the road at Missouri and at home to Florida. We have no doubt they've been having some very focused practices over the last couple days in hopes of breaking this losing feeling.

Why Tennessee tonight? Well, Georgia has really struggled on the road overall and we just don't see them having the firepower to keep up with these hungry Volunteers, a team that really needs a bounce-back win.

Many will be wary about taking the hosts at this kind of number, but we reckon they'll pull away and win this one by double digits. This sets up as a good spot for Tennessee, who are 8-4 ATS at home this season, against a Georgia squad that's due for a letdown.

Pick: Tennessee Volunteers -9
