I've reviewed the nice college hoops slate for the day and have isolated the best matchups of the night. Here are my top three NCAA basketball picks for Tuesday. Don't miss them!

No. 7 Xavier vs. No. 10 Providence (+2 On NCAA Basketball Odds)
So I was right and wrong when previewing Providence's game Sunday against then-No. 4 Villanova in Philadelphia. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday but moved back a day because of that monster winter storm in the Northeast. I wrote here at SBR that I fully expected Villanova to win but that I was taking Providence and the 13 points as the NCAA basketball odds boards showed, which was way too many to give. The Friars (17-3, 5-2 Big East) pulled off an 82-76 overtime stunner as the Wildcats had won 22 straight Big East games. Friars sophomore Ben Bentil, the Big East's top scorer, was brilliant with 31 points, including 10 in OT. He also had 13 rebounds and was deservedly named Big East Player of the Week on Monday. All-American guard Kris Dunn was terrific as usual for Providence with 13 points, 14 assists (tied career high), five rebounds and four steals. Providence hadn't beaten a Top-5 team on the road in 12 years. The Friars had the biggest rise of any team this week in the AP Poll as they went from No. 17 to No. 10. Xavier (17-2, 5-2) beat Seton Hall 84-76 on Saturday. James Farr had a career game with a  career-high 24 points, a game-high 15 rebounds, three blocks, a career-high four assists and two steals. Farr leads Xavier and is third in the Big East in rebounding at 9.1 per game. Xavier and Providence have split four games since the Musketeers joined the Big East. The home team has won them all.

The Friars are 7-2 ATS in their past nine Big East games. They are 6-2 ATS in their past eight vs. teams with a winning record.

No. 19 Indiana vs. Wisconsin (+3 In NCAA Betting)
Not really sure what Indiana (17-3, 7-0 Big Ten) has to do to get ranked in the Top 10 of the polls as the Hoosiers are top the Big Ten standings with Iowa. Yet the Hawkeyes, who have the same amount of overall losses, are in the Top 5. Indiana clobbered visiting Wisconsin 89-57 on Saturday for its 12th consecutive win. The Hoosiers are winning Big Ten games by an average of 16.4 points and haven't allowed a Big Ten team to score better than .97 points per possession. Last year's team held only three conference opponents under 1.00 points per possession. Senior guard Yogi Ferrell was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday. Ferrell averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 assists in the two wins and became IU's all-time assists leader. He's also the Big Ten's active scoring leader. Wisconsin (11-9, 3-4) doesn't look like it will be an NCAA Tournament team this season. The Badgers did have a good week last week, though, upsetting No. 4 Michigan State and then winning 66-60 at Penn State on Thursday. UW lost at Indiana 59-58 on Jan. 5. Ferrell scored 19 points and broke a 53-all tie on a jumper with 38 seconds left. He also hit four key free throws. Wisconsin has yet to win three straight this season but has won 13 in a row at home vs. Indiana.

Indiana is 1-4 ATS in its past five on Tuesday. UW has covered 12 of the past 16 meetings.

Wyoming vs. Fresno State (-7.5 For NCAA Basketball Picks)
Wyoming (10-11, 3-5) gets back one of the Mountain West Conference's best players from a one-game suspension in senior guard Josh Adams for this one. Adams missed Saturday's 81-71 home loss to Boise State for an accumulation of technical fouls -- the conference, not the school, suspended him. His latest technical was the game before when he was whistled for taunting a Nevada player. The school simply had said that Adams wouldn't start against Boise State, but the conference obviously overruled that. Adams leads the Mountain West and is sixth nationally in scoring at 23.9 points per game. He's not a one-trick pony as Adams adds 5.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. Fresno State (13-7, 4-3) beat Air Force 56-55 on Saturday. Torren Jones had a putback of a missed shot with five seconds left for the winning points. He and Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year Marvelle Harris each had 14 points to lead FSU. Tuesdays haven't been good to the Fresno State program for a while as, rather amazingly, FSU hasn't won on a Tuesday since February 2013. That's a string of six straight losses. FSU is 9-1 all-time at home vs. Wyoming but did lose there last season in triple overtime.

Cowboys are 5-1-1 ATS in their past seven after a loss and we are adding them to our NCAA basketball picks. FSU is 3-7 ATS in its past 10 conference games. Road team is 4-1 ATS in the past five meetings.
