Only a  few ranked teams are in action on Monday night on the NCAA basketball odds, but there's one terrific matchup between No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 8 Villanova in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

#6 Oklahoma vs. #8 Villanova
Monday is the 74th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack so that's why the teams are playing there. It's being held at Bloch Arena dates, which hosted a battle of the Navy bands on Dec. 6, 1941, on the evening before the attack. This matches one of the nation's top offensive teams in Oklahoma and one of the best defensively in Villanova. The Sooners (5-0) rank 12th  nationally in scoring offense at 88.0 ppg and fifth in scoring margin (26.5 ppg). OU is shooting 44.6 percent as a team from 3-point range thus far (fourth nationally) and six players are averaging at least 45.0 percent shooting from long distance. The Sooners have one of the country's best players in reigning Big 12 Player of the Year Buddy Hield. He's averaging 21.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. The No. 6 Associated Press ranking is the highest for the Sooners since the 2008-09 season. Villanova (7-0) has the best defense in the Big East, allowing just 56 points per game, 35 percent shooting from the field and 27 percent from 3-point range. The Wildcats are led by Ryan Arcidiacono, who is the reigning co-Big East Player of the Year. He's averaging 12.4 points and 4.0 assist this season. Villanova makes its first visit to Honolulu since the 1999 Rainbow Classic. Nova is 2-1 all-time vs. Oklahoma and 0-1 on neutral courts. The Sooners are 4-1 ATS on the NCAA basketball odds in their past five non-conference games.

IUPUI vs. #11 Purdue
This is the game of the year for IUPUI -- the Jaguars have played two other major programs this season, losing by just four in overtime at Marquette and by 23 at NC State. The Jaguars ended a four-game losing streak last time out in beating  Miami (Ohio) 78-64. Junior guard Darell Combs led the way with 20 points. IUPUI held Miami to 38 percent shooting overall and 4-for-16 from downtown. Combs, a transfer from Eastern Michigan, leads the team in scoring at 15.3 points per game. IUPUI enters Monday's game 0-13 all-time against ranked opponents, losing by an average of 18.4 points, and has just one win all-time against the Big Ten, having beaten Northwestern in 2002. Purdue (8-0) has been very impressive thus far, winning its first eight games by double digits for the first time in school history. And those include quality victories over Florida, Pittsburgh (in the Panthers' gym) and New Mexico. Purdue never trailed in three victories -- Vermont, Old Dominion and Lehigh. In three other games — Incarnate Word, Florida and Pittsburgh -- the Boilermakers trailed for less than one minute. In 320 minutes of basketball, Purdue has trailed for only 14 minutes, 14 seconds. It has not trailed in the final 10 minutes of any game. Over the last three games, the duo of Isaac Haas and A.J. Hammons is averaging 31.7 points (shooting .603 from the field) and 14.3 rebounds per game. The Boilermakers rank second nationally in field goal percentage defense (.331) and ninth in scoring defense (57.6). Purdue beat IUPUI 77-57 last season. IUPUI covers. IUPUI  is 8-3 ATS in its past 11 out of conference. It has covered 13 of its past 18 on the road. Purdue is 2-9 ATS in its past 11 vs. teams with a losing record.

Buffalo vs. #5 Iowa State
Buffalo (4-4) certainly isn't afraid to play good teams -- i.e. cash a check -- as the Bulls are off an 82-59 loss at Duke on Saturday. UB was led by 17 points from freshman CJ Massinburg. The main difference in that game was at the free-throw line where Duke went 29-of-36 and the Bulls were 10-of-16.  Duke hit just two more shots from the field and recorded only one more rebound. The Bulls now become the first MAC team since Eastern Michigan in 2012 to play Top 10 opponents in back-to-back games.  Iowa State (6-0) has won five of its six games by double digits and hasn't played since an 84-64 win over North Dakota State on Dec. 1. ISU holds foes to just 38.8 percent shooting from the field while the Cyclones have shot 51.9 percent. Iowa State has trailed just 20:05 of 240 minutes. The Cyclones have five players averaging at least 13 points, the only team in the Top 25 that can say that. Georges Niang is leading the Cyclones in scoring with 16.5 points per game. He is the leading active career scorer in the Big 12. ISU has scored 83 points or more in the last five games and the last time the school scored at least 83 in six straight was in 1990. Iowa State. It has covered eight of its past 11 at home. Take Iowa State as the NCAA basketball pick.
