With early season tournaments going on in college basketball, theres a ton of opportunity to make a ton of loot. Time is money, therefore let's take this opportunity to cash in as we provide you betting picks that we think will give you a clear edge in NCAA Hoops.

Portland State (4-0) vs. Oregon (3-2)
Oregon is a NCAA Basketball odds double-digit favorite in this game as they've faced superior competition in the #19 Michigan Wolverines and #14 VCU Rams and came up a bit short while the Portland State Vikings haven't been tested yet, facing a much easier schedule. Being a 15 point underdog and undefeated, this game will be a definite uphill climb for the Vikings, but a win would be huge on their resume come March.

The Oregon Ducks are coming off of a disappointing loss to the VCU Rams,77-63. VCU currently resides in the AP top 25 but had been crushed by Villanova previously. Although VCU committed 20 turnovers, the Ducks weren't able to capitalize as they shot a dismal 37.5% from the field and forward, Elgin Cook, fouled out. The Ducks would certainly like to hand Portland State their 1st loss of the season.

The Marcus Mariotta of Ducks Basketball
Maybe I'm getting carried away, but senior guard, Joseph Young, has had a stellar career with the Ducks. For the season, Young leads the team with 21.4 points, 4.6 assists, and 4 rebounds per game.

While Young hasn't been the most efficient shooter, hovering around 40 %, he provides clutch play when the Ducks need it and is a spectacular defensive player. That said, Young is coming off of a disappointing 2 for 13 shooting performance against VCU while still grabbing 5 boards and dishing out 5 assists. Look for a bounce back performance from Young as the level of competition will take a major drop in this game.

The Ducks are a very deep basketball team that go 8 players deep at 20 minutes plus per game. While Joseph Young and Dillon Brooks provide the offense, Oregon gets plenty of support on the boards in the form of Elgin Cook (12.4 ppg. 6.8 rpg.) and Dwayne Benjamin (7.5 ppg, 9.3 rpg.). They might have suffered a couple of early season losses, but this is a team that will get better as the season progresses.

Portland State is a very capable team offensively as they feature 5 players in double figures, led by DaShaun Wiggins (16 ppg. 2.8 apg.)

Wiggins had a huge 32 point performance in a win over SIU Edwardsville, but they're a far cry from the Oregon Ducks. Nonetheless, this is a deep team that has players that can fill in for starters and produce. Players such as senior Gary Winston have seen an increase in their playing time and Winston's numbers have skyrocketed, averaging 13 points in his last 2 games on 4 of 8 shooting from the field. In order for this team to win, everyone has to contribute.

It's early in the season and I think that Oregon will take Portland State a bit too lightly.

UTEP (4-0, 0-0) vs. Washington (4-0, 1-0)
Wooden Legacy
The UTEP Miners are the 4.5 point betting favorite in this fairly even matchup on a neutral site as the Miners are coming off of a huge early season victory over the Xavier Musketeers, 77-73.\

The comeback victory gave Xavier their first loss on the season as the Miners shot nearly 50% from the field and 40 % from 3 point land. Senior, C.J. Cooper, was unstoppable as he scored 22 points and was 4 of 7 from beyond the arc. The Miners would be happy to get half of that production from Cooper as he and leading scoring Vince Hunter will be tested by the Huskies.

Vince Hunter has had a super start to his sophomore year, averaging a double-double and 18 points per game. Hunter has been very consistent as he's rebounded in double figures in every game this season and has shot 49.1% from the field. UTEP will rely heavily on Hunter in this game as he faces a Washington Huskies team that's 23rd in the nation in rebounds.

The Future Jason Kidd?
From a Washington perspective, Nigel Willams- Goss is the go to guy as he can do it all. On the season, Williams- Goss is averaging 14.4 points, 7.8 assists, and 6 rebounds. At just 6 foot 3, this Oregon native has proven that he can take over a game. In his last game, he had a near triple double. Look for Williams- Goss and Shawn Kemp Jr. to play well here.  For your NCAA basketball picks, this should be a highly contested game.
