The game between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Creighton Blue Jays is high on the total line.Let's review the NCAA basketball odds & see if this a total worth of our NCAA basketball picks.

NCAA Basketball Odds
Odds makers have come out with the total at 162.5 which you can find at -110 at Bookmaker. This is a really high total for a college game, but for one of my NCAA picks, I will take the over and look for both teams push tempo the whole game.

Creighton Blue Jays
In two games, Creighton is averaging 98 points per game, shooting 53.7% from the field, and 39.7% from beyond the arc. They rank ninth in the country in three pointers attempted which is the staple of Greg McDermott's offense. Transfer guard, Mo Watson, has helped push the tempo of the offense, so look for him to be the catalyst tonight on this end of the floor. Also, guard Isaiah Zierden and forward transfer, Cole Huff, should be able to help keep up with Indiana with their three point shooting.

Defensively, the Blue Jays are allowing 74 points per game, 47.3% shooting from the field, and 42.5% from beyond the arc. For all the talk in the off season about ratcheting things down on defense, they have been a bit more comfortable just getting out and running. Against a team like Indiana, who is like Creighton on steroids, expect this trend to continue tonight.

Indiana Hoosiers
In two games, Indiana is averaging 95 points, shooting 59.5% from the field and 46.3% from beyond the arc. I am not the biggest Tom Crean fan simply for the fact that his teams always seem to lack on the defensive end. Still, I will give credit to him on the offensive end because Indiana can flat out score and ranked first in scoring last year in the Big Ten. Offense has not been the issue as far as their success goes, and they have plenty of weapons this year, highlighted by returning guards Yogi Farrell and James Blackmon.

Defensively, Indiana has allowed 62.5 points per game, 41.8% from the field, and 36.7% from beyond the arc. So far, it seems they are playing some decent team defense but from distance they haven't been as efficient. With that being the case, it could prove an issue versus the three point happy Blue Jays which has me more inclined to back the over.

The NCAA Basketball odds for this matchup will continue to vary, as we should expect this game to have a lot of up tempo and a ton of three point attempts. For one of your NCAA Basketball picks, I recommend taking the over and enjoying what should be the most entertaining game of the day.
