The Yale Bulldogs (20-6) visit Newman Arena to face the Cornell Big Red (9-17). Yale is favored by 11 points on the NCAA Basketball odds board and the total is at 141.5.

Yale Bulldogs
The Yale Bulldogs have won their last three games, including last Saturday's hard-fought 76-71 overtime victory against the Dartmouth Big Green. Brandon Sherrod and Makai Mason led the way for Yale, scoring 16 points apiece. Dartmouth was held to just 4 for 10 shooting in overtime.

Yale scores 74.8 points per game and shoots 46.7 percent from the floor and 36.5 percent from three-point range and they pull down 40.5 rebounds per game. The Bulldogs allow 63.4 points per game and their opponents shoot 40.6 percent overall and 32.0 percent from beyond the arc and pull down 26.0 rebounds per game. Justin Sears leads the team with 16.7 points and 7.4 rebounds, Makai Mason averages 15.7 points and a team-best 3.8 assists and Brandon Sherrod adds 12.2 points and 7.0 rebounds.

Cornell Big Red
The Cornell Big Red have lost eight straight games. They're coming off a tough 74-60 loss against the Princeton Tigers, which moved  them to just 2-10 in Ivy League play. Matt Morgan scored 20 points in the loss and Robert Hatter added 18 points but Princeton shot 58 percent from the floor (15 for 26) in the second half.

The Big Red average 71.3 points per game on 41.8 percent shooting overall and 34.2 percent shooting from three-point range and they pull down 33.0 rebounds per game. Defensively, Cornell allows 78.2 points per game and their opponents shoot 43.9 percent from the floor and 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and grab 40.1 rebounds per game. Matt Morgan leads the team with 18.9 points, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals, Robert Hatter averages 17.9 points per game and Darryl Smith adds 8.8 points per game.

Betting Trends
Yale is 8-3 ATS as a favorite, 7-4 ATS against conference opponents, 8-3 ATS after a conference game and 6-3 off a win against a conference rival. Cornell is 8-11 ATS, 1-5 ATS on Friday nights, 1-5 ATS when playing with 5 or 6 days rest and 0-6 ATS revenging a road loss vs. an opponent.

Final Analysis
Yale is an 11-point favorite on the NCAA Basketball odds board and the total has been set at 141.5. These two teams met on February 6 and Yale crushed Cornell 83-52, covering the spread as a 13.5-point favorite. Yale opened the game with a 29-9 run and rolled from there. Jack Montague scored 16 points to lead a Yale team that faced little resistance. Justin Sears finished with 13 points and eight rebounds in the victory while Matt Morgan finished with 20 points to lead Cornell.

Cornell is really struggling while Yale is on a roll lately. The betting trends, the team's recent form and the result of their last meeting suggest that Yale won't have a hard time beating Cornell. I like Yale -11 for one of my NCAA Basketball picks.
