Will Oregon State show up and give Oregon a good fight this evening? The Ducks are the favorites on the road, but who do we think grabs the cover? Let's take a look at the NCAA basketball odds for this Pac-12 match-up.

Odds Overview

So far this season the Beavers are 9-7 SU and 6-6-1 ATS, while the Ducks have been better in both categories at 13-3 SU and 8-5-2 ATS.

Oregon has been the superior team and that's why they're favored by 2.5 points at the top sportsbooks. The O/U is one of the highest of the entire college basketball betting slate tonight, with the number settling in at 161.

Oregon Ducks

It hasn't been too good of a start for Oregon in terms of their Pac-12 performances. They've lost three of four games and their one win came in overtime.

So far the Ducks have lost to Colorado (91-100), California (83-96) and Stanford (80-82), while the victory came on the road in Utah. Oregon has now gone 0-3-1 ATS in conference action, while posting a 0-5-1 ATS mark over their past six matchups overall

The Ducks have had a full week of practice following that close loss to the Cardinal.

Despite shooting 52.2 percent overall and 54.5 percent (12-of-22) from three-point range, Oregon turned the ball over twice as much as Stanford and was also out-rebounded comfortably. Mike Moser was the only Duck to grab more than five rebounds.

Moser did a little of everything in the loss and was clearly Oregon's best player. He had 2 points on 8-of-14 shooting and chipped in six rebounds, two assists and a block as well. Danyean Dotson and Jason Calliste were the only other two Oregon players to reach double figures in scoring.

Oregon State Beavers

Like Oregon, the Beavers have struggled in the Pac-12 so far, having also dropped three of their first four contests.

A 81-72 home victory over Stanford was very impressive, but Oregon State fell to Colorado (58-64), Utah (69-80) and California (83-88) to put them at 1-3 ahead of tonight's showdown against the Ducks.

We last saw the Beavers in action eight days ago in their 83-88 setback to the Golden bears at home. The hosts were one-point underdogs but couldn't come through for backers.

Roberto Nelson continued his fantastic season with another great outing. He had 26 points on 7-of-17 shooting and added nine assists in 38 minutes of action. Angus Brandt came up with 22 points of his own, while Eric Moreland put up 14 points and 11 boards in the loss.

Will the Beavers get back on track tonight? Coming in they've gone 7-2 SU and 3-2-1 ATS at home, but a hungry Oregon team isn't going to go down without a legitimate fight.

College Basketball Pick

Points won't be an issue tonight.

There should be a lot of offense put on display, especially on the Ducks' side of things. They're putting up an amazing 88. PPG so far this season, with the Beavers averaging 77.8 PPG. Neither of these defenses have been good either.

Does that mean we should automatically take the OVER? Not so fast. We actually think taking Oregon on the spread is the better NCAA basketball pick, as they're due for a bounce-back performance after three straight losses. The Ducks are the more talented team and we look for them to handle the rowdy crowd well and hang on for the victory and ATS cover.

Pick: Oregon Ducks -2.5
