Essentially every top sportsbook out there has a line of one point available, with Boston College the favorite. This season the Eagles have struggled to the tune of 6-18 SU, while going 7-14-1 against the spread. The Fighting Irish are 13-12 SU and 7-14-2 ATS.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish
It's been five days since the Fighting Irish held on for a 68-64 overtime win over Clemson at home. Notre Dame survived an onslaught from K.J. McDaniels (30 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks), as they actually held the entire Tigers team to 34.3 percent shooting.
It was a much more balanced effort from Notre Dame, with four different players hitting double figures. Zach Auguste led the way with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Eric Atkins had 16 points, six assists and three steals in 50 minutes of play.
It was the Fighting Irish's second win in seven games, with the team now at 4-8 in conference play.
Not only was Notre Dame hit hard when Jerian Grant was ruled ineligible, but now Demetrius Jackson is out indefinitely for academic reasons as well. He's not a huge contributor but has averaged a solid 23:20 minutes per game.
The Fighting Irish need all the help they can get right now, since they've really struggled offensively lately. They've averaged just 62.8 points over their last five contests.
Boston College Eagles
The Eagles have been struggling even more than the Fighting Irish. They come in having lost four games in a row, two of which were by double digits at home to Duke and on the road versus Virginia.
We last saw Boston College in action three days ago in their 71-74 road setback at Georgia Tech.
Despite shooting 50.9 percent overall and 52.9 percent from beyond the arc, the Eagles were poor defensively and let one slip away. They allowed the Yellow Jackets to shoot 53.8 percent overall and were also vastly outmatched (17-31) on the glass.
Individually, it was no surprise to see Olivier Hanlan pace the Eagles offensively. He had 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting. Joe Rahon and Ryan Anderson were the only other Boston College players to score at least 10 points.
ACC play has been a complete disaster for this young Eagles team. They've gone 2-9 straight up so far, with both of their victories coming over Virginia Tech. Meanwhile, the Eagles have gone 4-6 SU at home.
College Basketball Pick
There's a reason the Eagles are favored in this matchup in spite of all of their shortcomings this season.
Notre Dame may have the better record, but they've struggled without Grant and have been especially bad away from South Bend. They're a combined 1-7 in road and neutral-site contests in 2013/14.
This Boston College team is desperate and we imagine they'll come out and do enough to squeak out the victory at home. We think readers should back Boston College in their NCAA basketball picks. Especially after losing by three in overtime in the first head-to-head meeting, the Eagles will be looking to get their revenge.
