An abundance of games means there should be quite a bit of college basketball betting value out there. Have we found it?

NC State Wolfpack vs. Florida State Seminoles

There's no chance the Seminoles will be taking part in the Big Dance this season, but they're going to try and close out the regular season with a nice home win.

They will be playing host to NC State as 3.5-point underdogs this afternoon. The total is at 145.5, with the OVER hitting in seven of the last nine matchups between these ACC foes.

Though the Wolfpack haven't been covering road games on a consistent basis, they run into a Florida State team that's 3-11-1 ATS in their last 15 matchups overall. Florida State is also a poor 2-5-1 ATS in their previous eight at home.

Last month, NC State beat the Seminoles 84-66 at home, with T.J. Warren going off for 31 points and 13 rebounds and C.J. Leslie adding a double-double. It was a near flawless offensive effort from the hosts.

Strictly in terms of talent, few teams are as loaded as the Wolfpack. They have one of the best starting fives out there, but inconsistency has plagued them throughout the season. With the year coming to an end though, things have started to turn for the better for Mark Gottfried's team.

A vastly superior rebounding team, while also averaging over 11 points more than Florida State this season, we believe NC State will control this game and get the cover.

To us, it appears as if the Wolfpack are rounding into form, and we believe talent will win out over home-court here. We're backing the visitors to cash with our first college basketball pick for this action-packed Saturday.

Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Arizona Wildcats

The Wildcats had an easy time in the first meeting between these teams, beating Arizona State by 17 on their own floor. Still, we feel the value lies with the Sun Devils in the rematch in Tucson.

Right now the college basketball odds have Arizona favored by as many as 11.5 points, while the total is resting at 136.5. The road team in the series has gone 8-3 ATS in the previous 11 head-to-head meetings.

Both teams have been struggling recently. Arizona State has lost three straight, though all three matchups were decided by nine points or less, including a five-point overtime defeat against UCLA. As for Arizona, they've dropped two in a row, both of which were on the road.

In terms of trends, these schools are going in opposite directions. The Sun Devils are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 7-2 ATS in their past nine on the road, while the Wildcats are 2-6 ATS in their previous eight overall.

In short, we like the makeup of this Arizona State team. Jahii Carson (17.8 PPG) can take over on any given night, while Carrick Felix is averaging 14.0 PG and 8.4 RPG n the season. Then you've got another reliable scorer in Evan Gordon and two more productive rebounders in Jordan Bachynski and Jonathan Gilling.

For the most part, we've had success fading Arizona when they're big favorites, and we simply feel as if this number is too high.

The Sun Devils, who are an excellent 8-3 ATS in away games this season, have quite a bit of talent and we like them to cover this large spread today.
