There isn't a whole lot to choose from for our college basketball picks tonight, so we really have to be on the ball with our selections.

Duke Blue Devils vs. Pittsburgh Panthers

It's the first ever ACC battle between Duke and Pittsburgh tonight and current college basketball odds have the Panthers favored by 3.5 or 4 points.

Pittsburgh has done a nice job since a tough five-point road loss at Syracuse, beating Clemson (76-43) and Maryland (83-79) consecutively to improve to 6-2 SU in conference play.

The Panthers are still undefeated at home and get a lot of production out of many different areas. Lamar Patterson is the main man though – he averages 17.9 PPG, 4.8 RPG and 4.7 RPG and just dropped a 28/7/7 line on the Terrapins on Saturday. He's going to be full of confidence tonight.

Duke has looked very strong over their last four games, beating Virginia, NC State, Miami (FL) and Florida State. The wins over the Wolfpack, Hurricanes and Seminoles all came by at least 21 points.

The Blue Devils have been pretty shaky outside of Cameron Indoor Stadium though, going a combined 4-4 SU in road and neutral-site games. Against the spread they've also gone an even 4-4.

So, even though the Panthers haven't truly been challenged on their home floor this season, we see them rising to the challenge and covering this short chalk in front of what's going to be a rocking atmosphere.

Pittsburgh has a lot of experience and they're going to want to make a statement in their first taste of this ACC rivalry with Duke. For tonight's NCAA Basketball picks look for a Panthers cover inside Petersen Events Center.

Pick: Pittsburgh Panthers -3.5

Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Oklahoma Sooners

The rivalry is back with another edition, only this time the Sooners will play host to the Cowboys tonight. Looking over the NCAA basketball odds, Oklahoma is getting four points for this visit of Marcus Smart and company.

The Sooners have won three in a row, overcoming Baylor, TCU and Texas Tech. They're now at 5-2 SU (4-3 ATS) in Big 12 action, with their two straight up losses coming against Kansas and Kansas State.

There hasn't just been one standout for Oklahoma. Cameron Clark (17.0 PPG) and Buddy Hield (16.6 PPG) have been terrific, but Ryan Spangler, Jordan Woodard and Isaiah Cousins are all averaging in double figures too. Spangler has been the top dog in the post, hauling down an average of 9.8 rebounds per contest.

Meanwhile, we last saw Oklahoma State two nights ago in a 81-75 home win over West Virginia. The Cowboys are 4-2 both SU and ATS in conference play, with their two defeats likewise coming to Kansas and Kansas State.

Smart is obviously the biggest talent in the bunch, but others like Le'Bryan Nash and Markel Brown need to keep playing at a high level, especially with big man Michael Cobbins out for the season with a foot injury.

The Sooners have one of the most pleasant surprises this season. We expect them to take Oklahoma State down to the wire, making the points all the more attractive in this college basketball matchup. That high-scoring duo of Clark and Field has been exciting to watch and they should make a huge impact again tonight.

With that said, let's back Oklahoma to wrap up our sports picks for the night.

Pick: Oklahoma Sooners +4
