Though there aren't very many games on the board, there's hopefully still some value to be had. It's time to go over the matchups and see which NCAA basketball picks stand out above the rest.
Delaware Blue Hens vs. Drexel Dragons
Neither of these teams are having super successful seasons, with both resting at 8-11 SU. The Blue Hens are 7-7-1 ATS, while the Dragons are struggling in that department at a poor 5-13 ATS.
Tonight we feel the best value for your sports picks rests on Delaware's side, despite them being on the road. Current college basketball lines have the Blue Hens getting five points for this CAA battle.
Drexel has to be feeling pretty good following a three-game winning streak, while Delaware has lost three straight. That's a big reason why the odds are where they are. However, those losses for the Blue Hens came against three of the better teams in the conference, including Northeastern and James Madison.
And, despite those recent losses, Delaware does have some talent to bring to the table, especially out on the perimeter. Devon Saddler, one of the better players in the CAA, is averaging 19.5 PPG and Jarvis Threatt has been good for 12.7 PPG and 4.6 RPG. The Blue Hens also have some muscle inside with Jamelle Hagins, who's averaging 12.1 PPG and 11.3 RPG thus far.
As for Drexel, they were really hit hart at the beginning of the season when senior Chris Fouch went down with a season-ending ankle injury. In his stead, Damion Lee and Frantz Massenat have been tasked with doing most of the heavy lifting. However, while their defense has looked solid at times, Drexel has been inconsistent offensively (62.6 PPG) and has also been weak on the glass (30.8 RPG).
Not only have the Dragons won only two of their seven home games straight up, but they've gone 2-5 ATS in those encounters as well. Meanwhile, the Blue Hens have been decent (5-4-1 ATS) away from home coming in to tonight.
Add it all up and we don't believe Drexel deserves to be favored by this kind of margin. It looks as if the NCAA Basketball odds are leaving us some value in what should turn out to be a close game. Therefore, we'll be taking the points that come with the road team.

South Florida Bulls vs. Marquette Golden Eagles
The Golden Eagles will look to protect their spotless record at home tonight as they welcome the Bulls. Right now Marquette is favored by double digits, with the spread trading as high as 11 at some sites.
It's hard to find a lot of faults with this Golden Eagles team. They've risen to the occasion with the start of Big East play, having won five of their six conference games so far. Their only loss came in overtime on the road versus Cincinnati.
Other than that, Marquette has beaten Georgetown, Connecticut and Pittsburgh among others. They will be aiming to keep their perfect home mark in tact against a South Florida team that is struggling to stay afloat in the conference.
The Bulls have gone 1-6 SU (2-5 ATS) in seven Big East matchups so far, with their only win coming at home over Georgetown. However, they have proven to be a tough team to simply walk all over, as they've hung around in practically all of those contests except for the blowout against Louisville.
Forwards Victor Rudd (10.7 RPG and 7.0 RPG) and Toarlyn Fitzpatrick (10.4 PPG and 5.2 RPG) will be counted on to set the tone for South Florida tonight, while Jawanza Poland and Anthony Collins complement each other well at the guard spots. Collins is one of the best passers in the Big East, while Poland can get hot at any given time – he's shooting 45.4 percent overall and 37.1 percent from three this season.
One area where South Florida has done well is on the defensive end. They're giving up 61.0 PPG, which is even better than what Marquette (62.9 PPG allowed) has been able to do.
If they're able to lock it down and make life difficult on Marquette each and every possession, the Bulls should be able to avoid getting blown out here. Let's grab the underdogs once more.
