With limited options on the table tonight, we've got to be very careful with our NCAA Basketball picks. Here are two picks on home underdogs that we think will cash for bettors this evening.

Syracuse Orange vs. Marquette Golden Eagles

The Golden Eagles are targeting to stay perfect on their own floor as they play host to Jim Boeheim's Orange tonight.

It's essentially a toss-up in terms of the NCAA basketball betting odds, with Syracuse currently favored by 1.5 points at most books. If you're thinking a total play is the right road to take, you can find an O/U of 132.

For the most part, you don't want to mess with the Orange at home. But they become a different team on the road, where they're a mediocre 6-4 SU and 5-5 ATS – they've also covered the spread in only one of their last four games outside of Syracuse.

The Golden Eagles meanwhile have flown under the radar for most of the season, but people are finally starting to catch on. This is an extremely solid, well-coached team that has battled through a tough schedule and succeeded.

Vander Blue has been the go-to guy, averaging 14.7 points per game on 46.5 percent shooting. He's joined by Junior Cadougan, Davante Gardner and Jamil Wilson as Marquette's four primary scoring threats offensively.

After a disappointing road loss to Villanova over the weekend, this seems like the perfect opportunity to get back on track against one of the nation's best. The Golden Eagles have gone 3-1 ATS over their last four inside the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Already this season Marquette has topped Georgetown, Wisconsin, Pittsburgh and Connecticut at home and we believe a rowdy crowd will help spur them on to a win over Syracuse tonight.

Pick: Marquette Golden Eagles +1.5

Kansas Jayhawks vs. Iowa State Cyclones

In what should be one heck of a game, we are adding the Cyclones to our sports picks, as we expext them to exact some revenge tonight on their home floor.

Current betting odds have Iowa State as a one-point dog, while the total is at 144. The first meeting of the season between these teams ended in a 97-89 Kansas win in overtime, with the Cyclones really pushing Bill Self's team to the brink.

The Jayhawks are public darlings, but they haven't looked nearly as invincible as some many think based on their top ten ranking. This is a team that's had some trying times, especially early this month when they lost three straight, including road games against Oklahoma (72-66) and TCU (62-55).

Kansas will have to be extremely composed if they want to get a win in one of the toughest environments in college ball. The Cyclones have still yet to lose at home and have already beaten the likes of Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Baylor and BYU among others.

An extremely well-balanced offense has been a significant part of Iowa State's success. They're averaging 79.5 PPG overall (83.5 PPG on 47.6 percent shooting overall and 38.3 percent from three at home) on the year, with Will Clyburn, Tyrus McGee, Georges Niang and Melvin Ejim all averaging in double figures. Korie Lucious and Chris Babb have been crucial parts of this team as well.

This season the Cyclones are a profitable 7-3 ATS at home, while Kansas has gone 5-7 against the spread outside of Lawrence.

Iowa State's home-court advantage is no joke, and with them still trying to lock down a spot in the NCAA tournament while also in search of retribution, we feel this is a good spot for the Cyclones to cash.

Pick: Iowa State Cyclones +1
