This is another dead even matchup in which Boise State is a mere 1.5 point betting favorite. The winner will go on to have a date with Kansas State as the 13th seed.

LaSalle vs. Boise State- Starting Time – 9:10 pm ET

Boise State is coming off of a quarterfinals loss in the in the Mountain West Tournament to a San Diego State team that they had previously beaten just 5 days earlier.

The Broncos are coming into this game with their best player, native Austrailian, Anthony Drmic, playing some solid basketball. Drmic is averaging 22 points per game in his last 5 contests. The Broncos will need a solid performance from Drmic; guard Derrick Marks is coming off of an abysmal 4 of 22 shooting performance against the Aztecs on Thursday. Marks is a very productive player that can sometimes play out of control. He’s also averaging 3.4 turnovers per game and he’ll need to play his best to get into the NCAA Tournament of 64.

No Momentum?

LaSalle is coming into this game with 2 consecutive losses, but they’re playing a high level of competition with losses to Butler and St. Louis. This is a team that’s beaten Villanova, Butler, and VCU this season. Their resume speaks for itself and is why they have an opportunity to get into the Big Dance as a 13th seed.

Ramon Galloway

The senior guard has been a superstar all season, but has let the Explorers down as of late. He’s averaging just 6 points on a combined 4 of 22 shooting in LaSalle’s 2 recent losses. Without a good performance from Galloway, the Explorers will be going home and it will be the end of Ramon Galloway along with the rest of the senior’s college careers.

Galloway is a productive offensive player that can do it all. He shot over 40% from 3 point range this season, but has gone cold at the wrong time. He’s 0 for 11 from beyond the arc in his last 2 games. I think this games fate rests upon the shoulders of Galloway and he’ll have a bounce back game with his back up against the wall. Take LaSall for this NCAA Basketball Pick.
