Who will get the money in the “Sunflower Showdown” between these ranked in-state rivals? Find out which team we are backing with our NCAA Baketball picks tonight.

The No. 11 Kansas State Wildcats have cashed at a 3-0-1 ATS clip in their four Big 12 Conference battles since the start of January. Tuesday’s college hoops betting has Bruce Weber’s squad hosting the No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks, who have a 5-1 spread record in their last six meetings with K-State.

 Jayhawks, McLemore rally past Texas

Kansas logged its 15th straight win in Saturday’s 64-59 victory over the Texas Longhorns, with Texas holding on to cash as an eight-point home dog for my followers. The Jayhawks were held to 39.2 percent field shooting, while edging the Longhorns in boards, 35-26.

Jayhawks guard Ben MeLemore notched a team-high 16 points, uniting with mate Jeff Withey to hit 10-of-16 shots from the floor. Withey finished with 14 points and nine rebounds, while logging four of his side’s 10 assists.

Wildcats, McGruder hold off Sooners
The duel’s combined 123 points ducked below the ‘total’ of 127, moving the UNDER to 4-1 in the Jayhawks’ last five games. Kansas sank 21-of-25 free throws, while Jayhawks mates Travis Releford and Kevin Young registered two steals each.

Kansas State’s latest cashed ticket came with Saturday’s 69-60 triumph as a seven-point home favorite over the Oklahoma Sooners. The Wildcats drained 10-of-24 buckets beyond the arc, while allowing Oklahoma to connect from the field at 47.2 percent.

Wildcats senior Rodney McGruder put up a team-high 20 points, while mate Angel Rodriguez logged nine assists and three steals. Kansas State’s Shane Southwell grabbed seven boards, while the Wildcats were outrebounded, 36-24.

The contest’s combined 129 points jumped above the ‘total’ of 127 ½, lifting the OVER to 4-0 in Kansas State’s last four games. Wildcats forward Jordan Henriquez notched three of his side’s four blocks, while held to two points in 20 minutes of action.

Back the Wildcats in Manhattan

The NCAA Basketball odds makers opened Kansas as a three-point road favorite, while early betting on the Jayhawks drove the number north to four. Both squads resume action as part of Saturday’s college basketball card, with Kansas returning home against Oklahoma and K-State visiting the Iowa State Cyclones.

I am offering up the Wildcats as one of my free sports picks for tonight, taking the points at home in this rivalry affair. Kansas State has held visitors to 38.4 percent field shooting in Manhattan, while cashing at 7-2 ATS in its last nine home dates against foes with winning road records.

Check out our NCAA Basketball Picks of the Day for another play on this matchup.

Wildcats mates Rodney McGruder and Angel Rodriguez rank in the Big 12 Conference’s top five for scoring (15.5 PPG) and assists (4.6), respectively, while Jordan Henriquez is two spots behind Kansas’ Jeff Withey in blocks (1.9 BPG). Henriquez logged six blocks against the Jayhawks in last January’s 59-53 home defeat, while Rodriguez looks for another chance here after a 0-for-8 night from the floor.

Kansas is 1-4 ATS in its last five games, continuing to be overvalued despite the team’s present win streak. The Jayhawks have been held to 61.7 PPG in their last three games and could struggle again to find the rims in this spot.

Look for Kansas State to hand the Jayhawks another losing ticket, with the Wildcats roaring to get the money down the stretch here.
