Our college basketball handicapping professional shares his top two totals NCAA Basketball picks on Saturday’s card. Go inside to cash in on this high probability bets.

Connecticut vs. Temple 3:00 PM ET
Connecticut’s 104-97 win over Cincinnati can certainly be misleading, since that contest needed four overtimes to decide a winner. Truth be told, the game was deadlocked at 62-62 after regulation time expired. The Huskies will certainly have some tired legs heading into Saturday’s American Athletic Conference Tournament Final. After all, they had five players log 45 minutes or more during that marathon instant classic. Connecticut is a more than respectable defensive team, permitting opponents to shoot just 38.3%, and average a paltry 63.3 points scored per game. The Huskies are averaging an uninspiring 61.0 points scored per outing in regulation time, during their last four games against opponents with a winning record.

Temple has allowed only 60.3 points scored per game, and limited its opponents to 38.3% shooting during their previous four contests. Unfortunately for the Owls, they shot a poor 39.7% from the floor over its last five games. Temple has seen five of their previous six games stay under the total. Temple averages an identical 15 free throw attempts for and against per game in conference play, and that’s considered to be minimal opportunities even by college basketball standards.

These teams saw both regular season meetings against one another go under the total. Those contests averaged a miniscule 114.5 points scored combined per game, and stayed under the total by a cumulative 39.0 points. Each team shot less than 40% in both games, with Connecticut going a combined 35.2%, and Temple at 38.6%.

This contest has the earmarks of a low scoring game, and that’s the direction I’m going with one of my NCAA basketball picks on Saturday.

Seton Hall vs. Villanova 4:30 PM ET
Villanova has gone over the total in each of their previous eight games, and there was a combined 153.4 points scored per contest. During their last five outings alone, Villanova has scored 82.6 points per game, shot a sizzling hot 51.5%, and converted on an exceptional 44.4% of their three point attempts. They’ll be facing an opponent today which has allowed teams 24 free throw attempts per game over its last five contests. Villanova has made 77.8% of their free throws this season, and that’s 2nd best nationally in that category.

Seton Hall has gone over the total in five straight games, and there was a massive 160.8 points scored per contest. During that time frame, the Pirates shot 49.5%, and made a superb 40.2% of their three point tries. On a not so positive note, they also allowed 77.6 points per contest over that same five game span.

The current NCAA basketball odds provide me with a best number for this specific wager.
