Our NCAA basketball odds analyst has two underdog NCAA basketball picks on Tuesday that are absolute gems. Find out which ones and maximize your profits tonight.

Miami Fla. vs. Virginia 7:00 PM ET
Miami enters Tuesday’s game riding an eight game winning streak. As a matter of fact, they’ve gone 13-1 this season. The Hurricanes own impressive wins over Utah by 24, Butler, Syracuse, and Florida State. They’ve shot 52% or better in nine of their fourteen games this season, and have held its past five opponents to a combined 33.9% shooting from the field.

When it’s all said and done, I believe Virginia will be a “Sweet 16” team at the very least. However, right now the Cavaliers are reeling a bit. They’re coming off back to back straight up favorite losses to Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech.

One team (Miami) is riding a wave of momentum, and the other’s (Virginia) confidence has been shaken. It would not surprise me in the least if Miami comes away with a huge road win today, but I’ll certainly take the points as an additional bonus. I’m siding with the road underdog in this contest for one of my NCAA basketball picks on Tuesday.

Northern Illinois vs. Toledo 7:00 PM ET
The Northern Illinois Huskies have quietly started this season by going 13-2. Their only two defeats came on the road versus Ohio State by 13 and they fell 7 points short against Missouri. They’ll enter Tuesday’s game on a six game win streak, and that includes two decisive wins to open their conference schedule. During their last five games, Northern Illinois has averaged 81.2 points per contest, and shot a blistering 40.8% from beyond the three point line. In that same span, they’ve held opponents to 59.4 points per game, and just 34.1% from the field.

Toledo has begun conference play 1-1. A red flag shines brightly in those two MAC contests due to awful play on the defense side of the floor. The Rockets allowed 81.5 points per game, and their opponents shot 47.2% from the field in those outings.
