The Golden Grizzlies have been playing quite well of late and we have a feeling they'll avoid a massive blowout at the hands of the Spartans tonight. Check out our college basketball odds preview inside.

Odds Overview
Understandably, the Spartans are massive 20-point favorites on our NCAA basketball odds for tonight's game at home. They may not be undefeated or anything, but it's hard to argue with the Michigan State tradition. They're always going to be a contender under Tom Izzo, that much we've learned.

If you're wishing to make a play on the O/U, the number is currently at 144. Both teams have averaged at least 75 points per game on the season heading into tonight's battle.

Michigan State Spartans
Yes, a 6-3 record isn't outstanding by any means, especially by Michigan State's lofty standards. However, the Spartans' three losses have come against quality competition, so we're not going to over-react.

After consecutive losses to Kansas and then Notre Dame, Michigan State took out their frustrations on Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a dominant 85-52 win. As a team, the Spartans shot a ridiculous 60 percent from the field, while connecting on 10-of-18 from beyond the arc. They outrebounded their opponents 42-28 and had three times as many assists (27) as the Golden Lions.

Five different players hit double figures for Michigan State. Travis Trice had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists, while Denzel Valentine did a little of everything in the rout - he ended up with eight points, eight assists and six rebounds in only 29 minutes of action. Matt Costello chipped in with 15 points off the bench.

The Spartans will look to extend their perfect start at home, as they've won all three of their matchups on their own court. Sure, the competition hasn't been top notch, but there's no denying the significant home-court advantage that comes with playing at the Breslin Center.

Oakland Golden Grizzlies
A rough 0-4 start has been all but forgotten now that the Golden Grizzlies have turned things around in a big way. They've won three consecutive games and four of their last five ahead of this daunting trip to play the mighty Spartans.

You'd have to go back to December 6th for the last time Oakland took the court. They've been off over a week since an overtime win over Morehead State.

The Golden Grizzlies connected on an even 50 percent of their shots and held the Eagles to 41.9 percent shooting. Oakland got a huge game out of Corey Petros, who went off for 25 points and 10 rebounds in 43 minutes of play. Kahlil Felder and Nick Daniels each reached double-digit scoring in the win as well.

Oakland has had quite a bit of success in scoring the rock this season, but will obviously face a tougher test than they're used to in Michigan State. However, look back at the Golden Grizzlies' first game of the year and we see they gave Iowa State quite a scare in a 93-82 loss. Considering they were able to keep up with one of the most efficient offensive teams in the Cyclones, they're going to like their chances here against the Spartans.

NCAA Basketball Pick
So, we realize it'll take something crazy for Oakland to win this game straight up, but this is a team that's won three in a row and four of five and one that's already played some good teams this season. They're not going to be intimidated.

With that in mind, we look for the Golden Grizzlies to stay within this massive number and cover as the college basketball betting underdogs.

We haven't really seen Oakland get completely blown out this season, and we expect that trend to continue tonight which is why we're adding it to our NCAA basketball picks. Look for a cover out of the road team, who have had ample time to prepare for this showdown.
