Our college basketball analyst provides us with his two NCAA basketball picks on Wednesday’s card. Go inside in order to find what those selections are and why he chose them.

Nebraska vs. Creighton 8:00 PM ET
Creighton has gone over the total in all four of their home games this season, and there were a combined average of 166.0 points scored per game. The Blue Jays are averaging 85.2 points per game this season, and are converting on a very good 37.9% of their three point attempts.

This is a much different looking Nebraska team compared to what we’ve witnessed in recent seasons. Past years have seen Cornhuskers clubs struggle to score, be of little threat from beyond the three point line, and play at a deliberate offensive pace in order to overcompensate for most of its deficiencies. The 2015-2016 version of Nebraska basketball has been a stark contrast to any of its former traits. That’s at least been apparent early in this campaign. They’re averaging 75.8 points per game, and are converting on a stellar 37.5% of their three point attempts.

I like this game to be a high scoring affair relative to the current total, and one of my NCAA basketball picks on Wednesday will be indicative of that prediction.

Fresno State vs. Arizona 9:00 ET
Both of these teams aren’t proficient with their three-point shooting. Fresno State is converting on only 31.7% of their long distance attempts, and Arizona is at an even worse 28.7%. Each club is fairly decent defensively, with both holding opponents to 41% shooting from the field this season.

Arizona has gone under the total in each of their previous three games. Those contests averaged only a combined 130.7 points scored per game. They’ve seen all eight of their home games during the past two seasons go under the total (123.3 PPG), following two or more consecutive games in a row staying below the number.

This has all the earmarks of a lower scoring affair, and that will be one of my early leans. Current NCAA basketball odds  provide me with a best combination of number and price for this specific wager.
